<p>Week Three is bringing a noticeable change in the First Coast's basketball scene. Gyms throughout the region are seeing a number of emerging standouts who are changing the early-season narrative. Players who were unknown last season or barely mentioned in previous seasons are now delivering meaningful production on the floor. <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='748532' first='Whitney' last='Hudson'] was the engine of San Jose Prep's attack. Her elite end-to-end speed immediately separated her from everyone else on the floor—once she hit open court, no one was catching her. She was explosive in transition, consistently drawing fouls and converting free throws. Hudson created multiple defensive opportunities with sharp reads in the passing lanes and her on-ball defense. The Junior guard also showed growth as a playmaker-getting downhill and setting up teammates.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1308934' first='Kaitlyn' last='Farr'] scored 8 straight points and shifted momentum and preventing the game from coming down to a one possession game. Farr opened with a clean three, followed by confident mid-range makes that showed her comfort operating at multiple levels of the floor. Farr rebounds well and is a high IQ basketball player who understands spacing and team-play. When Creekside made a run, Farr answered with another timely three to stop the momentum. Farr played with poise and confidence—hitting shots in rhythm. Playing in her first season in Florida, Farr is bringing the "new energy" to the First Coast.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='515001' first='Jorrdann' last='Sibley'] brought the energy, balancing play making with disruptive defense. Sibley also mixed in scoring of her own. She knocked down a smooth corner three and added another perimeter jumper to impact the offensive side of the ball. Sibley excelled at getting downhill, drawing help, and kicking out to open shooters. Her court vision was on full display, highlighted by a long hit-ahead pass that sparked transition scoring. Crafty, composed, and confident, Sibley delivered the type of all-around performance that elevates a team on both ends. Sibley was a standout last year, and she is bringing even more energy this season. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1183397' first='Kai' last='Longmire'] delivered a steady defensive effort and also impacted the game ion transition and press break. Defensively, she provided consistent pressure, moved well laterally, and made it difficult for opponents to get comfortable. Offensively, she chipped in a few scores and even connected on a floater in the transition game. Longmire's ability to stay poised under pressure and defend with purpose made her a standout in week three. She is a young player who received some recognition last season, but this season she is bringing a different energy- new energy. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1201829' first='Sawsan' last='Kamara'] was one of the top shooters observed during week 3 of the season. Kamara knocked down several outside jumpers—showing clean mechanics and good footwork. Kamara didn't just shoot the ball well, she was also effective on the defensive end. as Her on-ball defense was smothering and she secured a number of steals in the the passing lanes securing numerous steals. She displayed smooth ball-handling and poise against pressure. Kamara help spearhead a historical season last year and is poised for the encore. This season she is bringing new energy with a more polished game and the ability to impact the game in more ways than just behind the three point line. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Kamiya Leroy brought the energy for Ribault, including a dynamic blend of athleticism. Leroy jumped passing lanes with anticipation, turning defense into immediate scoring chances. She was also good on help-side defense and disrupted the opponent with active hands and movement on the floor. Offensively, Leroy showcased a smooth jumper, knocking down a clean mid-range and finishing strong at the rim. Her ability to rise above defenders, attack gaps, and make plays in the open floor stood out. Leroy brought the energy - new energy and will be a player to observe throughout this season.</p>
