Farr opened with a clean three, followed by confident mid-range makes that showed her comfort operating at multiple levels of the floor. Farr rebounds well and is a high IQ basketball player who understands spacing and team-play. When Creekside made a run, Farr answered with another timely three to stop the momentum. Farr played with poise and confidence—hitting shots in rhythm. Playing in her first season in Florida, Farr is bringing the “new energy” to the First Coast.

She made smart shot selections, showcased her clean mechanics, and showed an ability to create her own looks. She never forced anything during the preseason tournament. She took the open shot, ripped into the mid-range with purpose, and used her change of direction to keep defenders guessing. Farr showed a nice shooting touch at all levels of the court, smooth footwork, and a versatile scoring package that made her one of the most skilled players in the showcase. She also rebounded well and played well on the defensive end. She is the player who helped make Tocoi an even more dangerous team than they were last season.

Her three point accuracy stood out and her versatile game has put the entire First Coast on notice. Farr playing along side Audrey Beyer Audrey Beyer 6'1" | SG Tocoi Creek | 2026 State FL makes for “much see TV.” Farr has an exceptional three point shot and is a three-level scorer. She can drive to the rim and can knock down the mid-range jump shot. At ‘6’0, Farr uses her length to rebound and play interior defense. Over the Fall, she was a beast on defense blocking shots and snagging every rebound in site. Farr is skilled and will have a huge impact on both sides of the court.

She hit threes off the dribble and the catch, posted inside, and disrupted passing lanes with her anticipation. She piled up deflections and boards while flashing elite shot blocking skills. Farr’s two-way play and versatility stood out throughout the Fall League match-up against Bolles. She is a young player who is turning heads and making others believe that at the end of the season Tocoi could fine themselves in the Final Four – now on the First Coast which would give her squad home court advantage.

Kaitlyn is making her debut in the Sunshine State 2028 Rankings after moving from Alaska recently. She’s impressed in fall showcases before even officially taking the court with her Tocoi Creek team. Farr has good size, can really knock down the 3 ball, and has solid quickness. It could be a really exciting year for a talented Tocoi Creek team with the added skillset of Kaitlyn to their team.

In four separate possessions, I watched Kaitlyn Farr Kaitlyn Farr 6'0" | SG/PF Tocoi Creek | 2028 State FL make a pass to the wing, then relocate to the corner for a three and knock it down. On the next possession, she posted up a smaller player and made a nice post move for the score. After that, she blocked a shot, and then followed it up by knocking down a sidestep three. Farr came to showcase her ability to impact the game and her high basketball IQ in contributing to her team’s success. She’s the type of player you look at the stat sheet afterward and see a double-double, nearly flirting with a triple-double. Farr made a statement at the showcase, earned her recognition, and proved she’s a player to know.
