Schmitz also excels on the break and attacking early in transition when she can find gaps, and does a great job timing up her passes to ensure open looks for teammates. She'll get on the floor for loose balls, attack rebounds, and has the strength to rip them away from opposing players. She's been one of their top playmakers this season with her ability to work off the bounce, attack the hoop, and get her teammates the ball in good spots. Also a key defender for them with her on-ball pressure and quick hands.
