[player_tooltip player_id='1182033' first='Macey' last='Kuntz'] demonstrated to everyone watching last week that she is a top-end rebounder throughout the state with the type if performance she put up. Kuntz recently finished a contest with a season and game-high of 24 rebounds. That's right, 24 rebounds. Not only do you have to have some size and intelligence to accomplish this feat. You also have to have a high motor with a lot of athletic ability to continue to keep this number at such a high rate throughout a 32 minute contest. Kuntz has been the driving force in the middle of her Wapello team over the past few years but this showing was next level in every definition of the phrase.

[player_tooltip player_id='1143194' first='Sira' last='Doumbia'] has been someone that we recently discovered last year as being someone who might be able to compete at the college level one day. Well, Doumbia did work last week, recording 8 blocks in one of her said contests. This would be the high for Doumbia on the season in this category and in her career if I'm not mistaken. Doumbia is someone that holds a currently D2 offer out of Illinois and she possesses a lot of promise. You know what they say. You can't teach height so that Doumbia stands at 6'3 as a Junior in high school, means something. Especially when she is putting together nights like this one on a consistent basis.

I have been the PGH Lead scout in Iowa for 4 seasons now and I don't think I have ever seen anyone make more than 9 three pointers in one contest until [player_tooltip player_id='582807' first='Haevyn' last='Ranschau'] beat that number last week. Ranschau has always been considered a college level prospect because of her shooting ability and that was on full display a few days ago. She finished off her contest with 11 three point MAKES from the field, giving her over 33+ points on the game. Not to mention, her twin sister made about 9 three pointers from the field to add onto that, giving the total between both twins at 20 makes within one game. As you can tell by the numbers, these girls really can shoot and wherever they end up for college, that program is going to be VERY excited about the future possibilities with these two.

We have been really impressed with [player_tooltip player_id='1583044' first='Sophie' last='Bird'] of Grand View Christian to start this Winter season. Bird is a CG/PG with size a 5'10, she moves really well as a guard, and she is truly someone that is interchangeable on the perimeter depending on what her team needs of her. Last week Bird has a showing in which she dished out 13 assists within regulation. This number is an impressive one. It means she wasn't just creating for others but those others were also converting her passes, which you love to see from an outside perspective. There is still a long way to go but Bird has been doing WORK as of late and it's noteworthy.
