At this point we are writing about Sira Doumbia every week that she is traveling and playing on the road this season because of how much she is producing on both offense and defense as her team’s motor in the middle. Doumbia had multiple double-doubles over the last few days in points-rebounds because of her mixture of size, coordination, and physicality. There aren’t many across the Country that can matchup with her physical traits that she brings to the table and that’s been extremely obvious the last few weeks specifically. I would assume that Doumbia will have multiple D1 offers prior to committing to the next level. To where? I’m not sure yet but it wouldn’t be crazy to see somewhere in state or somewhere near by step in to offer her before everything is said and done.

Sira Doumbia is the biggest stock riser within the Top 75 in this Update as she moves from #39 into the Top 20 and the main reason for that is because of her production the last few months mixed with the interest from the college level that she is starting to bring in. Doumbia stands out. Metaphorically and literally at 6’3. Her size and muscular frame has been too much for most others to deal with near the post and that helps her produce on both ends as a scoring threat and as a lock down defender. At this rate Doumbia is going to go from no offers last year, to a handful of D1 and D2 offers this year. An impressive jump for someone moving into their Senior season but one that is not too shocking when you look at all the variables in from of us.

You could debate that Sira Doumbia has had the best Spring overall as a college recruit this AAU season. Doumbia has received some D1 & D2 offers since competing with the Phenom and I don’t see her slowing down moving back into high school ball during the month of June. As long as she continues to play with discipline by the basket, she is going to be just fine. You can’t teach height and Doumbia is a true 6’3 with some balanced coordination so you know how that story can go.

Sira Doumbia Sira Doumbia 6'3" | C IA received an another D2 offer today when she grabbed one from The Drury Panthers. Doumbia has been on a tear this AAU season. She Is killing it out of the blocks on both sides of the floor and making herself a house-hold name out of the 2027 Class in Iowa moving into her Senior season at Washington (CR) High School. If you are looking for size, a soft touch, and a smart demeanor out of the middle of the floor then you should look at Doumbia. She is going to end up being one of the best Post Players out of her Class at this rate and she is just getting started.

Doumbia was consistently problematic for every opponent. She effectively used her legitimate size and length as well as solid transition speed to gain position. Her feel for identifying what shot she wanted to take translated and teammate communication with her hands was very good. She was also successful at clogging the lane, altering shot selection and clearing rebounds for ball handlers to get the transition game going. Put-backs on the offensive end were quick as were kick-outs to spotted up shooters.

once today already so we will keep this short and sweet. You can’t teach 6’4. You can’t teach physical domination to a certain extent. You can’t teach prospects to never give up. Those are three things that Doumbia has going for her and because of those thing she is going to be D1 player at the end of the day. This weekend Doumbia received a D1 offer out of Kansas City. That’s pretty monumental for her within this process. Now it’s just about see what else she can build on to bring in more interested suitors moving forward.

I am very curious to see the production that Sira Doumbia might have throughout the rest of her career. Doumbia was someone that stepped up in big moments all Winter long under the hoop, ultimately helping her CR Wash program to a 5A State appearance. She has used that momentum from the Winter season and built on it to start this AAU Spring. The reality is that no one could really match with Doumbia’s this past week. She was a bruiser inside the paint and her team fed her the ball every chance they could get. Her back to the basket work was solid and she never gave up on a play. This helped their team win a lot of games over the past few days and I’m sure it’ll continue to help them moving forward into the rest of the Summer.

of CR Washington. Doumbia is still very raw in the skills side of things but her size and understanding of the game helps her produce at a solid rate against most others. When you have this type of size and strength, any team is going to have to throw 2-3 players at you to get stops on defense as long as your team gets you in the proper positions within the offense. We saw that all Winter long. It was taking teams double and triple teams to stop Doumbia once she caught so as long as she can build on that dominance and keep up with her conditioning, she is going to be just fine. In this Update she takes over the #1 pure Center position within this 2027 Class moving into AAU season.

CR – Washington High School went on the road and recorded a big win against Waukee to move their overall record to 10-3. A big reason for this victory came on the inside of the paint with the play of

. Doumbia is a 6’3 Center, that we mentioned earlier this week because she had a standout game on the defensive end in one of her more recent matchups. In this specific contest against Waukee Doumbia registered 25 points (12/18) in the paint, along with 16 rebounds. This is as dominating as any performance that we have seen across the state this season up until this point with the most important factor being that they won the contest in the end. If they can work off of this type of production moving into the Playoff’s, they might give some other teams a run for their money when it matters the most.

has been someone that we recently discovered last year as being someone who might be able to compete at the college level one day. Well, Doumbia did work last week, recording 8 blocks in one of her said contests. This would be the high for Doumbia on the season in this category and in her career if I’m not mistaken. Doumbia is someone that holds a currently D2 offer out of Illinois and she possesses a lot of promise. You know what they say. You can’t teach height so that Doumbia stands at 6’3 as a Junior in high school, means something. Especially when she is putting together nights like this one on a consistent basis.
