As the season continues to roll along, several Colorado players are rapidly approaching the coveted 1,000-point milestone. Sitting at 941 career points, Kiarra is just 59 points away from reaching the 1,000-point mark in her junior season. She has increased her scoring total every year, and this season she's averaging 17.1 points per game putting her on track to hit the milestone in the coming weeks. She gets it done by creating steals and scoring in transition, knocking down the three, and breaking down defenders to finish at the rim.     Madi Clark has become a better offensive player every year she's been in high school, making her climb toward 1,000 points no surprise. Sitting just 120 points away, she's capable of having breakout games that easily surpass her current average. She's someone to watch closely as her team looks to build confidence heading into the playoffs.     In her junior year [player_tooltip player_id='631337' first='Ava' last='Chang'] has taken on a heavier load as one of the team's veterans. She has adjusted to her role at the guard spot and is comfortable playing both on and off the ball which opens up more scoring. Currently sitting at 861 points she continues to move closer to the milestone.     Averaging 21.7 points per game, Halton has taken a leap offensively scoring six more points per game than she did last season. She's found her rhythm in her junior year and her team's record reflects that. With just 113 points left to reach 1,000, it's only a matter of time before she gets there.     The senior guard is making a strong push in her final season playing a key role for a team sitting atop the 5A standings. She's steadily become one of the leading scorers over the past few years which has made a difference for her program. Sitting at 867 points, it's no surprise she's closing in on the 1,000-point mark.     Lauren currently sits at 887 career points and is within reach of the milestone before the league play ends. As a driving force behind her team's offense, the chances are there for her to score when she is able to. It's a mark she's well on pace to hit as the season continues.
