Plans for the rest of this week have changed due to the weather. I assume most of the cancelled games from tonight will be rescheduled for tomorrow, if possible. With that in mind, tomorrow I plan to watch a GLIAC game between UW-Parkside and Davenport in Kenosha, then head west for a non-conference matchup between Elkhorn and Janesville Craig in Elkhorn. Before diving into those plans, let's look at some intriguing prospects ahead of the rescheduled action.

Lailynn White

I watched the Dodgeland native play on the road at Johnson Creek earlier this month and was intrigued by her skill set. White was the most skilled player on the floor and made the game look simple against inferior competition. However, I did have some takeaways from her game. One being the poise she plays with. White didn't force anything offensively, but found ways to put the ball in the basket or earn trips to the free-throw line when needed. I'd be curious to see what she looks like against players with an athletic advantage against her, because I think she could figure things out quickly.

[player_tooltip player_id='992501' first='Kinslee' last='Nelson']

Oshkosh West isn't a program that plays up-tempo basketball. Instead, they'd like to grind out games with good defense to give themselves their best chance to compete in the FVA. Nelson is a player who has shown some impressive flashes in a few of the games I've seen the Wildcats play over the last few seasons. She is a better shooter than she's shown in her first season and a half, but she has the athletic tools that will catch your attention, and has already piqued the interest of some college programs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1228248' first='Lyla' last='Hintz']

I'll be interested to see what others think of Hintz's game because there is a lot to like. The Fort Atkinson guard/wing may not play a regional or conference powerhouse, but she does things that will catch anyone's attention. For one, Hintz plays hard when she's on the floor and will sacrifice her body if it means generating an extra possession. I also believe that there is a higher ceiling as a shooter for her than she may even realize.

[player_tooltip player_id='1174747' first='Milan' last='Fullerton']

The Lake Mills guard has excelled in an off-ball role and has found ways to move away from the ball to earn open looks at the basket. Fullerton has found a role that allows her to be the best version of herself and excels within that role. She doesn't force anything and stays calm any time she's on the floor, which will help her moving forward. The L-Cat will be a player whom regional programs will appreciate as time passes.
