Today, games start back up after the new year, and we should be in store for an entertaining second half of the season. Heading into the second half of the season, I'd like to highlight a few players who I haven't highlighted as much as I would've liked to start the season. Let's highlight some intriguing talents.

[player_tooltip player_id='1278345' first='Quinn' last='Schenkenberg']

The Shell Lake forward has been one of the more intriguing frontcourt prospects in Wisconsin over the past 12 months. Schenkenberg is a skilled and physical post player who can play through traffic and finish through contact. I also like her ability to get downhill and power through players off the dribble. However, her ability to pass and play alongside another post player, and make quick reads with the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1220853' first='Paige' last='Lisowski']

The Whitehall guard is a skilled ball handler who can make plays for herself and teammates off the dribble. Lisowski is comfortable being the focal point of an offense and getting open looks for her teammates. However, she is also a player who is confident to shoot the ball whenever she has space. She will be a player who can hurt defenses in AAU and at the next level when she has more talent around her.

[player_tooltip player_id='751271' first='Madilyn' last='Davel']

The Neillsville guard is the engine of a talented Warriors team that has an opportunity to make a deep run in the postseason. Davel is a quick player who can get to the basket by beating her defender off the dribble and forcing opposing defenses to help to keep her out of the paint. The lefty is also a solid perimeter shooter who can space the floor and knock down shots. The Neillsville product is a player who I believe can help a program at the scholarship level.

[player_tooltip player_id='732637' first='Sydney' last='Michalkiewicz']

The Neenah backcourt is full of talent, and the Rockets' sophomore is among the players who can make a difference for the FVA program. The left-handed guard has demonstrated that she can play alongside scholarship talents and find ways to contribute to her team's success in games. However, I was impressed with her ability to get to the basket and finish through traffic when I watched her play about two weeks ago. Michalkiewicz has been a solid player alongside other talented players, and I'm eager to see what she can do over the next few seasons at Neenah. She can make plays anywhere on the floor.
