As the calendar turned to 2026, there are a talented group of seniors coming down the homestretch of terrific careers. Here are a few that are making the most of their final season in part 1.

[player_tooltip player_id='474774' first='Leah' last='Nordin']-Shawano

The Wisconsin commit has looked every bit the part of the next Ms. Basketball putting up a terrific stat line of 26.8 ppg, 11.6 rpg, 2.8 apg, and 4.1 spg while shooting 50% from the floor and 32% from three. She is on the cusp of hitting 2,000 career points and has Shawano sitting at 7-4, heading into the second half of the season, with a "prove-it" game tonight vs Xavier.

Abigail Treichel-River Falls

The Wildcats, winners of just seven games a year ago, have already matched that total and a major reason is the play of the 6-2 Treichel. One of only two seniors on the roster, she has been an anchor, down low, averaging 14.7 rebounds per game to go with 11.8 points, 2.5 steals, and 2.2 blocks while shooting 54% from the floor and providing valuable leadership to her younger teammates. The Wildcats currently sit at 2-1 in the BRC with a pivotal road game tonight at Hudson.

[player_tooltip player_id='766630' first='Ava' last='Koch']-Omro

One ACL tear is usually enough to set a career back let alone two... Despite of all that, Koch is having a terrific final season for the Foxes putting up 23.1 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 3.6 apg, 4.9 spg while shooting 38.2% from three and 73.6% from the line. Sitting at just over 800 career points, Koch is on track to break the 1,000 point mark, in early February, and has helped Omro to a 9-2 start and in the thick of the Flyway conference with a big one tonight versus current leader Laconia.

[player_tooltip player_id='1228861' first='Amirah' last='Taylor']-Golda Meir

Great rebounders are something that catches my eye and, over the course of her decorated career, it is hard to find a better rebounder than the 5-10 Taylor. Last season, the two-time All-Conference performer, had games of 33, 28 (twice), 26, and 24 rebounds and never had a game lower than 12 on her way to a 20.2 average. Her senior season she has (understandably) been dealing with teams, throwing multiple bodies at her, and is still averaging 14 per game to go along with 16.2 points, 2.4 assists, 2.7 steals, and 2.3 blocks for the 5-7 Owls.
