Maddox continued her stellar play this season against the top competition, in big time showcase events across the southeast. She scores the ball in a lot of ways every time I watch her play. She uses her length well finishing around the basket on the break or attacking off the dribble in the half court. If she doesn't score most of the time she ends up at the free throw line where she is very reliable. Jazmin is a very capable shooter from beyond the arc as well as the elbow area. She is an exceptional defender who gets a couple buckets a game on turnovers she creates on the ball and jumping in the passing lane in help defense.

Mitchell is another guard who has played in several large events against very good competition often in front of multiple college coaches. She has been one of the more consistent players at these showcases all season. She is a Swiss army knife for Creekside, doing a little bit of everything well. She has stepped up in a larger role since the injury to her teammate and top junior prospect in the state, CeCe Dennis. Jacy is a very capable scorer and will need to do so down the stretch for Creekside make another deep run. Mitchell is battle tested and proven and will play a major role in region play and the postseason for the Lady Tribe.

Kersh changes everything when she is on the court for Cherokee Bluff. In almost every game the Notre Dame soccer signee is the best athlete on the court and often by a large margin. Kersh's quickest and length allow her to dominate stretches of the game on defense when Cherokee Bluff is in their full court press. She gets numerous tips and deflections that cause turnovers as well as reading the defense and intercepting passes that often lead to an easy layup. On offense, the same vision she uses on the soccer pitch is evident as she distributes the ball to her open teammates all over the court from longer than usual passes. Talking to other scouts at the event we agreed that if she had chosen basketball as her main sport, then Kersh would have been a division player in it as well.

Perry plays the position like a traditional point guard would-getting the calls from her coach, communicating that with her teammates, and then initiating the start of the play. Perry is a threat to score herself off the dribble, but is especially effective shooting the ball from the perimeter and using her speed to get out in transition and score on the break. Her primary role is getting the ball to her other talented teammates in the best position for the them to score., one that she does well. Mya plays with a high basketball iq, very rarely forcing bad shots or passes and doesn't turn the ball over.

Hutcherson managed to perform well in two games despite both teams having her circled at the top of the defensive scouting report. She was the primary ball handler and scorer for Lee County handling both responsibilities very well for her team. Hutcherson has a quick release on her jump shot and did a great job creating enough space to get it off around multiple defenders. She is a very skilled offensive player which was easy to see when the ball was in her hands. She handles the ball very well and is a very good passer. Despite being down big in both games, Hutcherson stayed positive, played hard, and impressed the spectators that were watching.
