Last Thursday morning, Prep Girls Hoops Indiana posted the Winter update for the Class of 2028. Typically accompanying updates are articles highlighting players on the move, newcomers, and just all-around general information regarding each position group. Below is a look at the top centers in the state of Indiana, followed by some commentary on a handful of prospects who have played well since the Fall update.

[player_tooltip player_id='992139' first='Jillian' last='Beaderstadt'], Lake Central H.S.
- Last season as a Freshman, Jillian saw some quality minutes at times to prepare her for this year. Now, she is one of the most impactful players for the Lady Indians. She has a strong, broad frame, some length, and she plays with a really nice motor for a traditional post. She has done a nice job of improving her face-up game, and she has even knocked down a half dozen 3-pointers this Winter. She's averaging 9.9 points and 8.0 rebounds this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1225048' first='Meelena' last='Fowlkes'], Warren Central H.S.
- Meelena is one of those "upside" prospects whose best days are probably well in front of her. She is extremely long, wiry, athletic, and bouncy. She plays with a nice motor, she's willing to be physical and box out/defend inside, plus she's a good pursuing rebounder who can chase down a carom outside of her area. She looks most comfortable on the block, but she has started to be much more effective scoring the basketball in the mid-post.

[player_tooltip player_id='1678159' first='Brianna' last='Dailey'], Oak Hill H.S.
- Brianna saw some key minutes last season as a rookie, but now she is a focal point for the Golden Eagles. She is averaging 16.1 points per game. She still needs to work on her face-up game, but at the Class 2A level, she is more than adequate facing the rim and almost dominant at times posting up around the block. I personally enjoy watching her true "post" play around the rim and her willingness to be the physical interior presence.

[player_tooltip player_id='1327395' first='Myra' last='Finnity'], Greenwood Christian H.S.
- Myra has turned into a double-double machine this year for the Lady Cougars, averaging 12.6 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. She has a solid to athletic frame, nice length, and wiry strength. She plays with a nice motor, and she has done a really good job of improving her face-up game this season. Myra is 8-14 from 3-point range, plus she is shooting 9% better from the field and 22% better from the free throw line.

[player_tooltip player_id='992138' first='Naomi' last='Oniyide'], Brownsburg H.S.
- Naomi is still working to find her niche on a talented and taller Brownsburg squad, but she flashes really nice upside and could eventually be one of the better prospects in Indiana's 2028 class. She has good size & strength at 6-4, an athletic frame, and tremendous length. She runs the floor fairly well, and she really tries to be fundamentally sound. She affects shots defensively, and she can rebound, so as her offensive skillset catches up, watch out.
