2029 Rankings: Freshman Risers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2029 freshman class has been playing at an elite level, have a plethora of players who excelled for their varsity teams this season. Here are some of the biggest risers with the latest update for the 2029 rankings.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1309957' first='Nakiah' last='Barrett'] -</strong> Bonney Lake</em> - Barrett is a freshman who jumped all the way into the top 10 from the watch-list. She has impressed this season on both ends of the court, being able to fit in nicely with this team. She can handle the ball at a high level, being able to pick apart defenses and not only get her own buckets, but find open teammates to set them up for easy buckets too. Her game is advanced on the court and she will continue to turn heads throughout her high school career.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1309326' first='Avaieya' last='Sinclair']</strong> - Decatur </em>- Here is another freshman that has entered the top 10 from being on the watch-list. Sinclair has a very nice offensive game, scoring in a variety of ways and knowing how to read and pick apart defenses quickly. She can shoot the ball well from anywhere on the court but thrives with the ball in her hand and being able to attack down-hill to get to the bucket. She was a leader on this Decatur team this year that featured a young group. Sinclair is a player to keep an eye on. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1309603' first='Taniyah' last='Tatum'] </strong>- Spanaway Lake </em>- She is a do-it all player, being able to score from all three levels and be a player who can contribute to all aspects of the game. She defends at a high level, moving her feet quickly and being able to recover fast and get steals that lead to easy buckets. She's a player that could keep rising. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1308477' first='Zoaye' last='Reed'] </strong>- Sumner </em>- Reed has been able to showcase she's a tough player to defend and is someone who will make an impact for years to come. She has a great shot from deep, displaying a quick release and high confidence in her shot. She handles the ball with ease too, keeping it on a string when facilitating. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1692187' first='Kailee' last='Maldonado']</strong> - Chiawana</em> - Kailee is one of the best scorers in the freshman class, already averaging over 15 a game. She scores from all 3 levels but most importantly, is patient on the offensive side and lets the game come to her so she can utilize her high IQ to attack the opposing team. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
