The 2026 rankings content is complete, and the 2027 rankings were posted this morning. Over the next two days, we'll talk about the players in the top ten of the class in two separate articles, and tomorrow, we'll look at some of the stock risers in the junior class, who are getting ready to close out their third season of high school basketball.

Albrecht is among the most intriguing frontcourt players in the junior class because of the skill set she brings to that position. She can play the four or five because she can move her feet, use her length defensively, space the floor offensively, finish around the basket, and I've always said that I think she's a better passer than people may think. She is a player who has the tools to control a game on both ends of the floor. Albrecht will continue her playing career in the Horizon League at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

The Hartford guard is a player I like more and more each time I watch her play. Kupper has been one of the most talented ball handlers and creators in the state. Her ability to put the ball in the basket is on par with everyone in her class. She has also improved defensively in her three years and has been more engaged on that end of the floor than she had been in the past. Kuepper will continue her playing career in her home state in the Horizon League at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

The Rice Lake post might be the best rebounder I've seen at the high school level in Wisconsin and the Midwest as a whole. Schmidt's ability to control the glass will be what gives her team a chance to win games every time they're on the floor. She has also done a solid job staying out of foul trouble this season. The Warrior is a player who will have a double-double in almost any game she plays at the high school level. Schmidt will continue her playing career in her home state in the Horizon League at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

The Hortonville guard is one of the more skilled lead guards in the state, and excels at controlling the pace of a game with the ball in her hands. Peppler can get to the basket and finish with either hand around the basket. I also love the confidence she plays with when she has the ball in her hands. Peppler has never backed down from competition and has taken pride in playing against the best players in the state and beyond. Peppler will join her older sister, Kallie, and continue her playing career in her home state in the Horizon League at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Zehner is a talented ball handler who can beat her initial defender off the dribble and make plays attacking the basket. The Arrowhead guard can score the ball at all three levels, make challenging shots, defend on the perimeter, and play off other talented players. There is still room for her to grow for sure, but she will never lack confidence or the competitive edge she brings whenever she steps on the floor. Zehner is currently uncommitted, but will surely garner D1 attention this summer with Mac Irvin.
