Senior [player_tooltip player_id='636390' first='Andrea' last='Flores'] was named her District's MVP upon the conclusion of the regular season and for good reason.

The #5-ranked player in her class has been tearing apart other teams gameplans all season. This included her most recent outing in her team's district championship. Flores was the game-high scorer with 34 points. 15 of these points came from the long line as she showed off her versatility, making five threes.

Flores has three-level scoring skills, and being able to create this brand of offense off the dribble at her height is a tough thing for teams to adjust to. This should remain the case in the regional tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='810523' first='Gwen' last='Carroll'] has been an elite player all year, and that continued into her team's district tournament.

In her team's championship game against Heritage High School, Carroll had a team-high 14 points. Caroll also excelled defensively in the championship matchup, logging three steals.

Going into the regional tournamnet Carroll brings a unique and effective skillset. Carroll is a great off-ball mover on both the perimeter and interior. This helps her generate a ton of points in some games. She now knows how to capitalize on these scoring chances when she finds a gap in her opponent's defense. This comes from Carroll having a fast release on her long-range jumper and having a good touch in general around the basket.

Junior for Soddy Daisy Gabby Spencer knows how to show up in big moments. That will be crucial as she and her Soddy Daisy team navigate the regional tournament.

Spencer, in her team's district championship win over Red Bank High School, scored a game-high 26 points. She excelled under the pressure of her team's most important game of the year, dropping 11 of her 26 points in the fourth quarter.

Spencer at the PF position is a high-level rebounder and does not back down from anyone. In the paint, she can score in bunches. Her aggro play has been proven successful all year and was in this most recent district title game against Red Bank.

The junior in this contest showed her toughness by converting an and-one layup through contact.

South Gibson won their district tournament, and their junior power forward, [player_tooltip player_id='821818' first='Jade' last='Reed'], ended up being one ofthe team's main scoring threats through their title run.

Reed scored 10 points in the semi-finals of her district tournament and 10 points in the finals.

Reed at 5'11" can do a bit of everything. She can score at an above-average level in the paint and has great dribbling skills at her size. Reed is also an extremely unselfish player. She's always looking to make the right play, whether that be attacking the basket herself or making a pass to an open teammate.

Reed is also an extremely good defender, especially when it comes to getting steals. She has everal games with three or more steals this season, including a six-steal performance against Cocke County. Reed's ability to move quickly at her size laterally plays a big part in her being one of her team's best steal threats.

Lawrence County High School came into their district tournament as the #2 seed and managed to win the tourney, getting them a one seed for the upcoming regional tournament. Helping massively in helping them achieve this feat was the play of junior [player_tooltip player_id='1039546' first='Ryann' last='Hughes'].

Hughes' physical offensive play style was on full display in the district final against Giles County, as she scored 15 points. And while Hughes can just use her strength to carve a path to a bucket, she can also be crafty in generating points in the paint.

For a forward who plays mainly in the interior, she has high-level footwork. She pairs this with an awareness of what moves to do, given how an opponent defends her. With the obvious work she puts in perfecting these moves, she is effective when she uses them.

Maisen Lewis stood out throughout Liberty Creek's run to a district championship and throughout their entire regular-season.

Lewis offenisve game has multiple layers. For one, she can shoot the three at a high-level. This comes from her jumper having a good and consistent rhythm that does not get thrown off, even when defenders close out. Lewis, as a PG, can also lower her shoulder and create buckets inside the arc.

Lewis, as a bigger guard, is also a great passer and rebounder. She has shown this throughout the whole season, and in one of her later games against Greenbrier High School. In the contest, she had six rebounds and four assists.
