Having one year under your belt can do a lot for a player's confidence heading into year two. Sophomore season usually brings more responsibility, and for some, it means stepping into the varsity program full time. In many cases, it is their first real taste of consistent varsity minutes and everything that comes with it. Below are some of the sophomores who have leaped from year one.

Todd falls into the category of a true two way player, and the fact that she brings the same level of energy on both ends at this age makes her development path that much smoother as she continues to grow in the game. Her skill set is versatile, and when you pair that with her length and athleticism, you get a player who is only scratching the surface of her potential as both a skilled prospect and a high level athlete.

The speed alone is what makes Carter stand out, and on both ends, she displays it. Defensively, her speed shows a ton in the passing lane, and she also has the length to recover if knocked out of place. Offensively, she stretches the court, and you can fully commit, cause she can fake and speed right past you. A kid to definitely watch this summer.

She has a natural feel and flow to the game that seems to adapt to those around her. Looking forward to seeing how her game continues to develop.

Williams has shown some growth this year and seems to be on pace for a bigger summer season. She has all the tools to be one of the best players in this state, and honestly she can get there before senior season.
Ellis showed she was a standout talent in multiple moments this summer, and the offers reflected that. Heading into the next stretch, the attention will only increase. From a prospect standpoint, coaches will want to see how effective she can be without the ball in her hands. She has flashed that ability, but continuing to prove her versatility will be where her value truly rises.
