Senior Year on the Hardwood

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Senior year is a big season for many high school athletes across the country, and we are officially in February which is going to be the end of the season for many teams.  It's time to review some of my notes from seniors that I've seen so far in 2026.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block basket, stepping out to the perimeter for the in-bounds pass, grabbing rebounds, and protecting the basket on defense.  Her versatility translated well to defense as she could guard a range of players from guards handling the ball to ones posting up on the block.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block adjustments getting the pass to her teammates cutting to the basket.  She handled the ball well for her team controlling the tempo.  Her ability to attack the gaps, make the defense collapse, and hit her teammates with the pass was an asset on offense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block the pass.  She hustles up the court and finds the open lane, especially at full speed on fast breaks.  She sees the court well leading her teammates even making some nice full court passes.</p> <!-- drives to the basket attacking the paint and pulling up for her shot.  She did well finding her teammates for the pass as they cut to the basket, or she hit them with the pass outside the perimeter as she attacked the paint.  She hustled back on defense getting her hands in the way of shots on the other end.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
