She is a great passer, especially when she uses her handle and speed to get downhill, and she is a solid three-point shooter. She came up big for this team late in the year and finished second-team all-state.

‘s ball handling was superb this game. She’s a good athlete, and when she decided to get downhill, people struggled to stay in front of her. She knocked down a few threes, and she did a nice job defensively. Looking at this VA Academy team, it feels like she took on a leadership role, and she controlled a lot of this game for them. She ended this one with 18 points.

Kang orchestrated the offense with confidence and control, finishing with 18 points while balancing scoring and facilitation. She knocked down timely 3’s, attacked off the bounce to draw fouls, and consistently found shooters rotating into open space. Her ability to read the floor while maintaining her dribble allowed Virginia Academy to stay composed in tight stretches. Late free throws sealed the game, reflecting her poise and leadership at the point.

Claire Kang had some nice range with her shot, and she did well making adjustments getting the pass to her teammates cutting to the basket. She handled the ball well for her team controlling the tempo. Her ability to attack the gaps, make the defense collapse, and hit her teammates with the pass was an asset on offense.

was great for Centreville this season. Claire ran this offense really well, and she was one of the best passers in the area this season. Claire did a much better job not turning the ball over this year. Claire is an outstanding shooter and does a great job handling the ball. Claire was a first-team all-district selection this year and a first-team all-region selection.

had a couple of outstanding games for Centreville this week. Claire has been playing outstanding this year as the primary ball handler for this talented Centreville squad. Claire had an terrific day in a big win over Oakton, finishing with 24 points. Claire had another solid performance in a loss to Chantilly on Saturday. Claire’s mid-range is lethal, and she is a reliable shooter from three. Claire is a true lead guard that’s improving as a prospect each game.
