2027 Player Rankings Update: New Additions

She ended up competing for Saint Ansgar High School and putting together a big Winter campaign while helping her team to the State Tournament. Osgood is a CG with potential. She is a coordinated offensive threat off the catch or dribble, she can defend her position at a thorough rate, and she always seems to have her head on a swivel to adjust in the millisecond if need be. In this Update we have Osgood breaking the Top 20 right away. Rutledge is pound-for-pound one of the most athletic prospects out of the 2027 Class as a whole. When you pair that with her size at 6'0 and physical demeanor, you get someone that can produce on the hardwood. Rutledge was a big key this season for the Saintes. She was active near the blocks on both ends of the floor, always giving 100% effort in whatever she is attempting to accomplish as a steady role player. Next year she is going to be their leading Forward moving into the season so we will see what she is really made of but whenever you see someone with this type of athletic ability, it's noteworthy. We know she is going to shine against anyone put in her way. Hoefert is a true 6'2 C/PF. She mainly moves around the inside of the paint, looking for opportunities while controlling everything going on around her. When oppositions attempt to get all the way to the bucket, she is always right there, waiting to welcome them to the block party she is about to throw. Offensively, she doesn't leave the paint for attempts from the outside. She knows where she makes her money and that is crucial in her development moving into her Senior year. This is someone to keep an eye on. Thomas is a 5'10 PF with muscle to pair along with her height. She is a bully to smaller/weaker opponents and she is relentless in her pursuit as a scoring threat or defender. It's going to be nice to see Thomas on a bigger stage over the next few months with the Lady Martin Bros program. Someone that should play a major role in this system is CG - [player_tooltip player_id='1675265' first='Emerson' last='McCormick']. McCormick is fundamental. She is the type that takes what a defense is giving her. She has a smooth pull up jumper as a righty and she understands the in's and out's of the game at a solid rate at this time. She is not someone that wants to force unneeded action in anyway. She knows that usually leads to TO's and that's not a good thing. That is something that coaches love about her as an overall recruit.
