<p class="text-gray-700">Barren County had a remarkable 2025–26 campaign, finishing 31–3 while winning 19 straight games and claiming the 15th District title. Despite falling in an overtime thriller to Franklin-Simpson in the 4th Region championship, the Lady Trojans proved to be one of the state's top teams. All-Region guard [player_tooltip player_id='903187' first='Shelby' last='Byrd'] led the charge, averaging 18.4 points per game while shooting 40% from deep and adding 4.6 rebounds. <p class="text-gray-700">Asia put together a sensational junior season, finishing No. 8 among the state's leading scorers at 24.7 points per game. One of the top shooters in the state, she shot 39% from three while averaging nearly four made triples per game. She delivered several jaw-dropping performances throughout the season and reached the 1,000-point mark in her career. The lefty guard is poised for a big spring and summer, suiting up for one of the top independent programs in [program_tooltip program_id='712635' first='Legends' last=''] U, as her stock continues to rise.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='636721' first='Brynn' last='Brickey'] continues to grow and blossom, putting together a strong junior season for South Oldham. She finished as the team's second-leading scorer, averaging 18.8 points per game. A true sharpshooter, Brickey knocked down 39% from deep while making close to three triples per game, and she capitalized at the stripe as well, shooting an efficient 82%. She also surpassed the 1,000-point mark for her career. She continues to elevate her game each year and will look to make the most of her final AAU season with [program_tooltip program_id='715808' first='Lexington' last='Crossover'] 17U.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Alyssa's leadership was on full display, making a well-rounded impact that proved vital to Holy Cross (Covington)'s success as they finished as the top team in the 9th Region with a 28–6 record. In her junior season, she averaged 12.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 3.2 steals per game, showcasing her ability to contribute many ways. She stepped up big during the postseason, leading her team to the region championship game and coming just short of a trip to Rupp Arena. Alyssa also reached a major milestone, becoming a member of the 1,000-point club and was named All-Region 2nd Team.</p>

She averaged a team-leading 15.7 points per game while posting efficient shooting splits of 44/37/84, helping lead her team to 21 wins on the season. Her offensive production was evident throughout the year, as she scored 1,000-points for her career. Kenzlee is now poised for a strong AAU season with [program_tooltip program_id='712592' first='Kentucky' last='Premier'] 17U (E40 Robertson), where her stock should continue to rise.</p>
