She loves to win, which brings out her best. Their high school team made a deep run through the tournament this year and she put up some big numbers in those games. The big stage brings out the better players! Maria has a very good three-point shot, she is slashy with good handles and is a solid defender. She has almost 1000 points in two years, can score rebound and defend equally, and she is so smart with the ball in her hands. Her court IQ is elite and to think she still has two years to fine tune her game before college.
