Talk about a kid who can get the job done, and she’s only a sophomore. In addition to scoring her 1,000th point, she’s a double-double machine, scoring just shy of 27 points per game and close to 11 rebounds. She can also defend and make the play.

This double – double machine just continues to get things done and has made herself a household name in that region. She has 15 double-doubles to be exact, she’s shooting nearly 60% from the field, and her 6-foot frame makes her not an only a nightmare matchup problem, but an all-around competitor. She slides up to #22!

Kendell Skiver reached the 1,000-point milestone this past week as a sophomore, adding to an already remarkable season. Earlier this year, she set a school record with 43 points in a single game and is currently averaging 28 points per game, showcasing her scoring prowess.

Kendell is putting up video game type numbers as we close in on the end of the regular season. 27 points 10 boards and five steals per game is about where she’s sitting and this girl can do it all. Love her intensity, can shoot from anywhere. She’s actually leading scorer in the northwest region and not many people outside of PGH are talking about her. If you don’t know her, you better get to know her!

Skiver is flat out elite with the ball in her hands! She can get to her spots and create her own shot with ease! Skiver attacks the rim with a purpose looking to score at every chance she gets. She also crashes the offensive glass well looking for second chance opportunities for her team! Skiver uses her length and height at 5’11” to be a pest defensively as an elite pressure defender. She also has an elite three-point jump shot with her pure shooting form! Skiver runs the floor very well in transition looking to convert at the rim. Nothing can stop her when she gets into an offensive rhythm!

Skiver is flat out dangerous with the ball, and it doesn’t matter where she’s located! She has hang time, agility, handles, and the footwork to take on any defender to the basket. And Kendell knows a thing or two about scoring from outside- anything from mid-range to beyond 3 point land!

First time I really got to sit and watch her play, I love her game! She showed everything to me in about three possessions. She knocked down a huge three, hit the boards with authority and pushed transition with great court vision for the easy bucket. Stock has vaulted!!!!

She’s one of the most versatile players in Ohio in this grade. She’s listed as a point guard, but she can really play multiple positions. She has great moves around the rim and is able to finish in traffic. Can elevate with good quickness and plays with a lot of enthusiasm. Her game continues to rise and I look for that to continue throughout the summer and into her sophomore season.
