2A West Regionals: Dominant Scorers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>NCHSAA hosted the regional tournaments this weekend.  I was able to check out the last day of the West Regionals hosted at Lenoir Rhyne on Saturday.  First up, the 2A matchup happened between Bishop McGuinness and Cherokee.  Let's take a look at the leading scorers from the matchup.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block well showing her calm composure knocking down her shot from deep and moving the ball well to get a play going.  She was dynamic with her ball handling getting inside using her own moves to get the opening.  She hit a halfcout heave to end the third quarter tying up the game, and she followed that with more scoring with her shot around the perimeter in the fourth quarter making sure her team always had a chance.  She hustles back on defense being ready to block the path of her opponents.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block effective making her cuts to the basket flashing to the block and using shot fakes to get the open lane banking it off the glass.  She gets her hands in the way on defense picking the pocket of her opponents.  Her ability to find her open teammates inside the paint was so fun to watch.  She hit a big time shot in the fourth quarter tying up the ball game again making sure her opponents knew they well finding her open teammates flashing to the basket.  She was constantly showing off her court vision knowing how to get the ball in the open spot for her teammate to grab.  She used her footwork her coverage knocking the ball away and jumping in front of passing lanes.  She went coast to coast laying the ball up off the turnover.  She showed off her range knocking it down from deep and was absolutely on fire from deep in the first half.  She had a big block late in the game making sure her opponents didn't have any easy points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block roles perfectly cashing the boards to get offensive rebounds and score off of these, jump in front of passing lanes, and make sharp passes to her teammates.  She hit a big time three pointer with under three minutes to go giving the Braves the lead back.  She grabbed a steal late in the game but knew how to hold her composure slowing down the pace and find her open teammates as she cross half some nice cuts to the basket using her shot fakes to get the opening and bank in her points.  She showed off her range shooting the ball from deep on many occasions throughout the game showing she
