Perez is a stabilizer. Every deep playoff team needs one — that senior point guard who controls tempo, values possessions, and defends at a high level. Perez brings poise to the Panthers. She handles pressure, doesn't get sped up, and makes smart reads in late-clock situations. What stands out on film is her on-ball defense. She competes. She takes pride in containing dribble penetration.

Erin has grown up fast this season. The freshman shooting guard has progressed steadily, and you can see the confidence building. Her shot prep is quicker. Her reads are sharper. If the Lancers are short-handed or down a starter, Even becomes even more important. She's not just a spot-up shooter — she understands spacing and moves well without the ball.

Gonzales is the quarterback for the Wildcats. Mesquite has been playing some of its best basketball late in the season, and that starts with Gonzales. She directs traffic, gets teammates organized, and understands situational basketball. She doesn't force much — she takes what the defense gives. In the Final Four, decision-making wins games. If Gonzales controls the pace and limits turnovers, the Wildcats become very dangerous.

Prisciandaro has put up numbers all year. She's productive, confident, and comfortable with the ball in her hands. Now she steps into a big-time guard matchup on the biggest stage. This is where reputations are solidified. Senior guards in March matter. Addie's ability to win her matchup — or at least neutralize it — will determine how far her team goes.

Coming off a near triple-double in the quarterfinals, Lizzy is trending at the right time. She impacts the game in multiple areas — scoring, rebounding, and playmaking. That versatility is what makes her dangerous. Against a top-ranked Salpointe squad, Paradise Honors will need her to stuff the stat sheet again. Players who affect the game beyond scoring win playoff games.

Cowart is coming off a double-double, and Mesquite will need that same interior presence again. She rebounds in traffic. She finishes through contact. She doesn't shy away from physical play. In semifinal games where possessions tighten up, second-chance points are huge. Stewart gives Mesquite that edge on the glass.

The senior forward has been consistent throughout the playoffs. She's active defensively and has embraced the physicality of postseason basketball. There's urgency in her game right now. Seniors who elevate their play in the postseason are invaluable. If Abt sets the tone early — rebounding, defending, finishing — her squad will feed off that energy.

Abuk is developing into a problem. The sophomore post is coming off a double-double in the quarterfinal win over Cactus Shadows, and she's been steadily improving all season. Her footwork is cleaner. Her timing on rebounds has improved. She's finishing stronger around the rim. If Luau replicates that production in the semifinal, Salpointe becomes extremely tough to beat.
