Bright Lights, Big Games: West Regional Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The stage has been set.  The teams playing in the state championships this week have been determined, but before I can move on to those games there are some final standouts from the West Regionals that you need to hear about.  I was able to catch the final day of the West Regionals hosted at Lenoir Rhyne on Saturday.  Here are the names you need to know.</p> <!-- into the openings being ready for an entry pass and made sure she was a big target for her teammates to find.  She did well getting her hands in the way on defense making it difficult for people in on defense going after loose possessions and pushing the tempo the other direction.  She grabbed a steal and had an excellent take to the other rim making the dish to her teammate for two points.  Her aggressiveness was consistent throughout the game being a tough on ball defender, too, picking the pocket of her opponents.  </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- ball well under pressure using her shifty moves to make the best adjustment getting her teammates involved as she hit them with the pass.  Even as the point guard she was one of the leaders for her team in total rebounds making sure she was contributing to her team.  She knew how to make plays and fill in the roles that her team needed in a tough game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- the paint getting to the opening and being ready for the pass.  She works hard on the boards getting rebounds on both ends, and she doesn't back down from contact working for her points.  Her length constantly moving on the court relocating after the pass and finding her open teammates.  She was handling the ball well herself getting to the paint and pulling up quickly for the jumper.  She crashed the boards grabbing rebounds on both ends.  She protected the basket coming up with a big block as her opponents tried to drive against her.  She had no problem taking the ball coast to coast and getting the open look at the basket.  She hustled back on defense being ready to grab the steal.  She was attacking the basket making sure she had a chance for some points even if it meant doing
