While the First Team selections highlighted several players who advanced deep into the tournament, the Second Team All-Tournament group reflects a collection of standout performers whose impact was just as undeniable. In fact, several players on this list delivered performances that warranted First Team consideration. These prospects contributed across multiple games (or dominated in one game), showcasing consistency, toughness, and versatility. Whether it was controlling the paint, leading the offense, or making momentum-shifting plays on both ends of the floor, these six players demonstrated the type of talent, competitiveness, and depth that defined the Class 1A and 2A state tournament. This group forms the Prep Girls Hoops Class 1A/2A Second Team All-Tournament and a few could make a case for 'first team". Collectively, they left a lasting impression on one of the biggest stages in Florida high school basketball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1217996' first='Breyanna' last='Blount'] established herself as one of the most physical and dominant interior players in the state tournament. Blount scored 18 points on an efficient 7-of-9 shooting performance in the semifinal while also adding 6 rebounds and 3 steals, demonstrating her ability to control the paint. In the championship game against Grandview Prep, she continued to compete inside and finished with 10 points and 9 rebounds, battling against one of the state's most talented frontcourts. For the weekend, she totaled 28 points, consistently creating matchup problems with her size, strength, and ability to finish around the rim. Beyond scoring, Blount's ability to run the floor and fill the lanes in transition stood out through the semifinals and finals. She created several easy buckets. She also held it down in the paint, forcing difficult shots in the middle. Her motor, physicality, and presence on both sides of the court made her a constant factor on all areas of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='601402' first='Lena' last='Most'] displayed toughness and leadership while running the offense for San Jose Prep. The quick and shifty guard played the full 32 minutes in the semifinal defeat, finishing with 18 points, 4 assists, and 5 steals. She consistently attacked the defense, drawing fouls while also creating opportunities for teammates. Even against one of the most complete teams in the state, Most's aggressiveness and playmaking ability helped keep her team competitive throughout the game. No one could stay in front of Most -even when the engine was operating on "fumes." She was undoubtedly the "Most" skilled ball handler I've seen in the building the past two weeks. One play that comes to mind was a second-half play - she takes an inbound pass, and the defense forces her left. Nearly every guard in the entire tournament would have reversed the ball with a pass and eventually chased it down to run the offense, but not [player_tooltip player_id='601402' first='Lena' last='Most']. She dribbles past the pressure with her left hand running full speed, makes bee-line for the rim, and at the last minute she throws a dime to her teammate for a layup. At the time, I was sitting with a college coach who recognized the difficulty and beauty of the execution. That one play defined Most's ability and removed her from under the radar. Her play was inspiring and productive - worthy of all tournament recognition.

[player_tooltip player_id='470461' first='Kamie' last='Ellis'] delivered a strong two-way performance throughout the tournament, helping Miami Country Day maintain balance on both ends of the floor. She contributed 11 points, 4 assists, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals in the semifinal matchup while playing with confidence and poise in the backcourt. Ellis knocked down perimeter shots (4 threes at 33 percent ) when needed and helped orchestrate the offense with smart decision-making. In two games, Ellis was only off the floor for 29 seconds - that's trust and senior leadership without a stat being tied to it. Defensively, she stayed active in passing lanes and applied steady pressure on opposing guards, helping generate transition opportunities for her young team. Her ability to blend scoring, playmaking, defense, and leadership made her a major part of her team's championship success.

[player_tooltip player_id='400815' first='Kylie' last='Green'] was one of the most active and versatile players on the floor throughout the tournament. Across two games, she combined for 16 points and 21 rebounds, including a 16-rebound performance against Miami Country Day that highlighted her versatility from the guard position and ability to dominate the glass. In addition to her rebounding presence, she showed composure and versatility in the semifinals as well, recording 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists without committing a turnover. One of the best athletes on the floor, Green's activity level, defensive effort, and improved perimeter shooting made her a valuable two-way contributor.

Time after time, "Gigi" delivered momentum-shifting plays. The junior guard had a standout showing against Evangelical Christian, where she scored 23 points with 17 coming in the second half. She consistently answered runs and provided the scoring spark Holy Trinity needed to maintain control. Over the course of the weekend, she combined for 30 points while adding 6 assists, 5 steals, and 2 blocks, demonstrating her ability to impact the game in multiple areas. In just 19 minutes of play , she produced a dominant 19-point, 10-rebound double-double while also recording two blocks and altering countless more. Her activity around the basket, willingness to battle on the boards, and courage to face double and triple team defenses kept Evangelical Christian competitive in the paint. Smith's scoring efficiency and physical presence inside highlighted her ability to impact the game on both sides of the court. Smith's impact extended well beyond the court, something that was clearly evident during the post-game moments. The emotional embrace between Smith and her coach resonated throughout the arena, reflecting years of dedication and trust. The respect shown by her high school media team—who patiently waited for every tear to dry before placing a microphone in front of her—spoke volumes about the admiration she earned along the way. Moments later, friends and family surrounded her, offering embraces after her final high school game.
