Early Season Favorites For Miss Tennessee In Class 1A and 2A

The more and more I dive into the makeup of our sport, the more I get a chance to see how much talent we have in our state. It doesn't matter the level, girls who lace up their sneakers and compete, shine no matter the competition. They could be playing district opponents or be doing work on the circuit, my point is that they rise to the occasion and get the job done.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We continue to look at what next year's field of potential Miss Tennessee nominees could be. Personally, I can't truly predict the future. Wish I could though. You never know what girl may have their breakthrough and prove us all wrong. This young lady is the complete package as she can get the job done both inside and outside the arc. She has a savvy court presence where she can exploit multiple areas on the floor. From knocking down shots to hitting her open teammates giving them good looks, her offensive game is flawless as she steers the ship. She's talented on the defensive end too. Steals, rebounds, her contributions help her club big time especially in the victory column. She has a great change of speed that enables her to get to multiple spots on the floor to exploit. She can get to the hole with ease and finish or knock down the 3 ball along the perimeter. She is athletic and talented and plays the game with such passion. She was a Miss Basketball finalist this season, averaging 19.6 ppg, 4.4rpg, 4.9 spg, and 3.2 asp. She can work with her back to the basket inside, finishing with a bag full of moves. She can stretch the floor and shoot the 3 ball at a high clip. Her presence on the floor gives her club an edge on both ends. This past season, she averaged  20.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.4 blocks, 1.5 steals, and 1.3 assists. She is a shifty guard who can score on all 3 levels. When she has the ball in her hands, good things tend to happen. She can create for herself or be utilized in the screen game, knocking down shots from all over the floor. She has a great feel for the game and knows when to kick to open teammates as she drives into the painted area. She is solid on defense, slowing down the opposition and putting them in situations unfavorable to them. Recorded 19 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds per game this past season. Her club advanced deep into state contention, and she was a factor in its success. She wasn't afraid of the big stage and will look to have similar results this upcoming year. Doesn't matter where she is on the floor; any clean look, the ball is going in. With exceptional touch, she is going to find a way to put the ball in the basket. She can do it off the dribble or spot up along the arc; more often than not, the ball is going to find the bottom of the net. Averaging 21 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists, she is on track to break multiple Hickman Co. records before it's all said and done. She had a sensational freshman campaign where she not only put herself on the map, but her club on the map as well.
