Notable Performers From the Mid Atlantic Challenge

One of the feature games was the Mid Atlantic Challenge which showcased players from West Virginia, Philly, DC and Maryland. She has secured a D1 scholarship with Kennesaw State due to her relentless style on both ends of the court. She brought the heat on defense which is always refreshing to see in an All Star game situation. She was aggressive on offense from the start, attacking the basket and finishing through contact. She played with a ton of energy on both ends of the court, setting tone early. She showed off her shooting range with a couple of step back threes and also turned in some good minutes as a facilitator. She showed off her perimeter shot, knocking down and early three pointer and did some nice work on the boards. She plays bigger than her 5'9" size as she can defend frontline players due to her upper body strength and good footwork. She is quick and has excellent defensive instincts. She came away with a couple of nice steals and made some nice entry passes into the post. She's a good on ball defender, but even more dangerous in passing lanes.
