<p>Prep Girls Hoops Kentucky updated the Class of 2029 rankings this week. There wasn't much movement in this update, as it's still very early in the evaluation process for this group. Some players have already begun to establish themselves with strong freshman seasons, while others are still getting acclimated. As always, we will continue to evaluate and make the appropriate adjustments with each update as these prospects develop.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Jayden averaged 12.8 points, a team-leading 8.4 rebounds, and 4.7 blocks per game while shooting 79.3% from the free-throw line, helping lead Ryle High School to a 21-win season and its first 33rd District Championship in program history. She broke her own single-season blocks record with 147 and now holds the Lady Raiders' all-time record with 309 career blocks. Jayden earned NKY Division I All-Conference honors along with Second Team All-9th Region recognition. She was also named to the ESPN Class of 2029 Watch List and attended the USA Junior National Team minicamp earlier this month.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Charlotte put up video game numbers all season for John Hardin, averaging 27.2 points (top five in the state), 10.8 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 3.2 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game. She earned First Team All-5th Region honors and was named Second Team All-State. Charlotte also surpassed 1,500 career points and 500 rebounds and is also on the ESPN Class of 2029 Watch List.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Taylor County was one of the top teams in the state, finishing with a 29–7 record while capturing the 20th District and 5th Region championships once again and advancing to the Final Four of the Sweet 16. The run was fueled by a stellar freshman campaign from [player_tooltip player_id='1050025' first='Kennedy' last='Deener'], who averaged 22.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.9 steals per game. Her standout season earned her 5th Region Player of the Year honors as well as the 2025–26 Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year award. <em>(Featured Image)</em></p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Tamia averaged 10.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game and was once again a key component for Frederick Douglass on their run to an 11th Region title and a second straight trip to Rupp Arena. She earned First Team All-City honors, Second Team All-Region recognition, and was named an All-State Honorable Mention. Tamia also picked up her second Division I offer from University of West Georgia.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Callie continues to make a name for herself as one of the top underclassmen in the 13th Region, averaging 10.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per game for South Laurel. She played a key role for a team that captured back-to-back 50th District titles and advanced to the region championship game. Callie earned Second Team All-Region honors, capping off a very solid freshman season.</p>
