The PGH MI College Tour continued with its second stop at Wayne State, where a full day of action inside the fieldhouse kept the circuit moving forward. With multiple courts in use, the setting once again gave players a strong platform to compete and showcase their skills. I was positioned at Courts 1 and 2 throughout the day, getting a close look at the 16U and 17U groups as they took the floor.

This session put a spotlight on defensive impact, as a number of players made their presence felt on that end right away. From on-ball pressure and active hands to rim protection and rebounding, the tone was set with effort and intensity. With college coaches in attendance, prospects competed with purpose, using their defensive energy to separate themselves and make a lasting impression.

Jaeda, a guard for the Cobras, made a strong impression with her defensive effort at PGH MI College Tour II – Wayne State. She was disruptive on the perimeter, using quick, active hands to create turnovers and make things difficult for opposing guards. While her defense stood out, she also showed she can contribute on the offensive end, knocking down shots from beyond the arc and displaying touch with a well-controlled floater. Her two-way ability made her a notable performer throughout the event.

A'leeyah, a guard for Prospects, stood out for her defensive tenacity at PGH MI College Tour II – Wayne State. When her team applied full-court pressure, she was a constant disruptor, using her activity and anticipation to create problems for opposing ball handlers and force turnovers. She consistently converted those defensive stops into offense in transition. Along with her defensive impact, she handled the ball confidently and showed strong decision-making, helping her team stay organized while playing at an effective tempo.

Maya, a guard for [program_tooltip program_id='1833851' first='Michigan' last='Select'], made her presence felt on the defensive end at PGH MI College Tour II – Wayne State with her relentless, disruptive style of play. She consistently got into passing lanes and read plays well, using her anticipation and quick hands to come away with steals. Offensively, she showed control as a ball handler, using purposeful change-of-direction moves, including between-the-legs dribbles, to create space and get past defenders.

Elise, a guard for [program_tooltip program_id='714462' first='Michigan' last='Premier'], impacted the game on both ends at PGH MI College Tour II – Wayne State, but her defensive pressure really stood out. She used her speed to harass ball handlers and create constant disruption, making it difficult for opponents to get comfortable. On the offensive side, she showed a polished skill set, scoring with a crafty step-through finish, connecting from beyond the arc, and displaying a smooth pull-up jumper. With her two-way impact and ability to affect the game in multiple ways, she's a player college coaches should be taking notice of.

Brooke, a guard for [program_tooltip program_id='714462' first='Michigan' last='Premier'], was a constant spark on the defensive end at PGH MI College Tour II – Wayne State with her speed and relentless energy. She thrived in her team's full-court pressure, using her quickness and sharp instincts to force turnovers and disrupt opposing offenses. Her active hands led to multiple steals, including one sequence where she picked off a pass and immediately set up a teammate with a pinpoint assist in transition. She plays with a nonstop motor and consistently makes an impact, providing a clear boost to her team on both ends.
