Throughout the AAU season I have the privilege of seeing all sorts of players and programs on the road while traveling throughout the Country. In this article I highlight prospects that college programs should be buying stock in early this AAU season because they are about to show off what they can really do for anyone paying attention.

Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!

Sizemore has strung together an impressive couple of years at the high school level and on the travel scene during AAU season. Ever since Sizemore was younger, she has had the "It factor". She has always been extremely coordinated while attacking and running her team's systems on offense while being very good at locking down her matchup defensively in the full court. The Lady Lightning will be in Ohio this weekend looking to make their mark during this First Live Period. I'm not sure who will be in attendance to see this group but they have some college level prospects so I'm sure there will be a crowd that gathers to watch them compete at some point throughout this weekend. As for Sizemore, she is legit and she is going to be legit when she gets to the next level as well, wherever that may be.

[player_tooltip player_id='884847' first='Olivia' last='Baker'] has length, a solid shooting stroke, a smart head on her shoulders, and she makes crafty plays at the bucket as a scoring threat. I'm curious how this program and team is going to perform over the next few days. I might not know much but I do know that they are usually an organization that understands spacing on the floor really well so Baker should thrive if that is the case with her knock down shooting ability off the catch. It's always a great weekend when you can be on the road with coaches in the building to watch you compete so I can't wait to see what this group does as a whole.

[player_tooltip player_id='880909' first='Kami' last='Clark'] is another that every recruiter should be keeping an eye on this Spring and this upcoming weekend in Texas. Clark is a lengthy CG, that can move all over the floor. She has a nice ability on and off of the ball, always being versatile and she isn't a slouch on defense. If her shots aren't falling, she can still stay on the floor because of her ability to make stops and coaches love to see that from a recruiting perspective. If Clark can put together a really nice Spring, the interest should start to flood in for her from the next level come this Fall. She needs to demonstrate that on no matter what floor, she can stand out and be an impactful piece on a winning team. If she can do that, who knows who might come in with a strong offer following her high school journey.

It's crazy to think that Nat Richardson had a collegiate offer at the start of her Freshman year last Fall at Montini and she is only ranked at #26 in the 2029 Class in Illinois. That just speaks to how talented the state and city of Chicago really are in the WBB field. We expect Richardson to have high interest throughout her high school career before she ends up committing. She has interest already at this point and that's only going to rise when teams see what she can really do on the road this Spring with her M14 3SSB program. That journey starts this weekend in Texas at the first Adidas Live Event of the 2026 Spring season and I can't wait to see how it all plays out.

There are a lot of coaching staffs that won't get a chance to see [player_tooltip player_id='1169794' first='Emma' last='Ryder'] play if it isn't for AAU season so it's vital that she puts together some memorable weekends throughout the Spring. That may seem like a ton of pressure but Ryder has confidence in her own ability. She is strong, she can finish at the bucket in every imaginable and it doesn't matter if she is double or even triple teamed. If she catches the ball by the blocks, watch out cause it's almost impossible to stop her at that point. Ryder checks off a lot of boxes that D1 level evaluators will have for her position. As long as she can continue to get better in her off-time, she is going to have one heck of a basketball career over her lifetime so this is definitely someone I'd know sooner than later out of this 2029 Class, if you don't already.

Throughout the AAU season I have the privilege of seeing all sorts of players and programs on the road while traveling throughout the Country. In this article I highlight prospects that college programs should be buying stock in early this AAU season because they are about to show off what they can really do for anyone paying attention.
