It’s crazy to think that Nat Richardson had a collegiate offer at the start of her Freshman year last Fall at Montini and she is only ranked at #26 in the 2029 Class in Illinois. That just speaks to how talented the state and city of Chicago really are in the WBB field. We expect Richardson to have high interest throughout her high school career before she ends up committing. She has interest already at this point and that’s only going to rise when teams see what she can really do on the road this Spring with her M14 3SSB program. That journey starts this weekend in Texas at the first Adidas Live Event of the 2026 Spring season and I can’t wait to see how it all plays out.

Montini has always been the home to top tier talent, and Richardson has been doing things so far this season that point in that direction. The growth in her game has been apparent and has truly kept Montini competitive so far this season. If she keeps on this path, you’re looking at a potenital all conference type of player within the next couple of years.

Montini is coming off a state title, and even though they’re in a rebuild.. You can never count this program out for producing strong talent. Richardson is next in line for that title. Even as a freshman, she has made her mark as a player who can be depended on for offense. The growth in her skillset is evident, and her confidence seems to be increasing as well. Strong upside.

Richardson received an offer from one of the top Division 2 programs in the country over the past week, a testament to the development she has been showing. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see her snag a good chunk of minutes this season with the reigning 3A champs.
