The Spring has arrived, and it's time for us to update the prospect rankings in all four graduating classes currently enrolled in high school. For the Class of 2027, this is a huge time in their careers, as it's the last time they will play a grassroots season in front of college coaches. The overall list (rankings & watch list included) has expanded from 185 total prospects to 200 total prospects. With that said, below is a look at all of the point guard prospects in the Class of 2027. Below the rankings chart are some quick updates on a handful of uncommitted prospects.

Riley was unfortunately injured at the very beginning of the 2025-2026 high school season and likely won't play at all during the grassroots season. July would be the earliest she could possibly play, and that would be an extremely short timeline. Over the Summer of 2025, Riley's interest was really starting to pick up, especially at the NCAA Division I level. She is a tough guard, she plays with poise and patience, she's a pass-first leader, and she's a feisty defender. She's a part of a loaded 2027 class at Franklin Central, and they were just different without her this season.

Izzy was very good at the end of July in 2025, and she carried that over into a strong 2025-2026 high school season. She is quick, fast, feisty, and very creative with the ball. She keeps the ball on a string, can create space and separation from the defense, but she can also turn the corner and get downhill in a hurry. I am anxious to see her again this Spring and see how much her game has grown in the last year. I anticipate she'll have a great deal of interest, especially at the elite small college level.

Maddison transferred from South Bend's John Adams High School to South Bend's James Whitcomb Riley High School between her Sophomore and Junior seasons. She is a heady little guard who plays with a nice motor and all-around feel for the game. She is a solid ball-handler, plus her vision and ability to find open teammates are very good at this age. She has also improved her physicality and ability to absorb contact when attacking the basket. If she can shoot it consistently this Spring & Summer, she should have some good small college interest.

Olivia has been one of my favorites to watch in this class over the years, and hopefully she'll start getting more recruiting attention after her play this Spring & Summer. She has a good all-around feel for the position, she's a more-than-willing passer, and she is a nice athlete in most directions. She uses her length and savvy defensively to get steals/deflections, plus she plays with a nice motor. At this point, I think she's a very under-the-radar recruit who some college is going to be thrilled about getting once it's all said and done.
