The Nebraska Class of 2028, may currently be the most talented in the state. There seem to be three sure fire Division I prospects, and one of the nation's top volleyball players in our top six. Two were recently named to the Nebraska Super-State teams by the state newspapers. They headline a deep, deep class that could lead to a special spring and summer season of offers for this group. And, it's not just them, we'll break down more over the next few days.

Our new No. 1 is Bennington's [player_tooltip player_id='884656' first='Macie' last='Reiner']. An elite, elite athlete -- she was second in the Class B 400 meter dash last year (56.62) and ran on the Badgers state champion 1,600 meter relay team as well. She shined on the basketball floor this winter leading Bennington to an undefeated season and their first state championship in school history. Stuffed the stat sheet this winter with averages of 14.8 points, 6.9 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 4.3 steals per game. Reiner really gets it done on the defensive end and will play "up" on [program_tooltip program_id='712709' first='Nebraska' last='Attack']'s 17U UAA team this spring and summer.

As good as they come, we believe Dolliver may start seeing high-major offers this spring playing for ETG. They begin the adidas circuit this weekend in Bryan, Texas. Dolliver was a second-team, all-class selection for her winter work in Malcolm and first-team in Class C-1 as the Clippers advanced to the state title game. Dolliver had season averages of 19.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 3.0 steals. An excellent shooter, she connected on 46% of her shots from the floor and made 36 triples.

Kuhn is the real deal. An elite passer who can drive the ball, who also shoots it really well from outside. Her length on defense can also be a big problem for other teams opposing guards. For her Marian team that advanced to a Class A district final in late February, she led the Crusaders in scoring (16.7 points) and rebounds (7.5) and assists (4.3). We expect high-level offers to come rolling in for Kuhn.

Tatum is a special, special point guard whose playmaking ability will continue to get her noticed. She played a key role as a freshman on the Thunderbirds state semifinal team last season and this winter she led the Birds in scoring at 18 points per game. Also had averages of 3.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.3 steals for Bellevue West this year as they advanced to a Class A district final.

Renard is an intriguing prospect who continues to develop her game and is a load to handle in the post at 6'2". Her upside could be on full display with her ETG team on the adidas circuit this spring. At Lincoln Northeast this winter, she averaged a double-double for the Rockets with 11.0 points and 10.1 rebounds. More impressive, she averaged 1.9 blocks per contest, showcasing her ability to be a rim protector on defense.

Not much left to say about Rautenberg, who is one of the nation's top volleyball prospects in the Class of 2028 having played on the USA developmental team last summer. She's equally as impressive on the basketball floor and could be a rare, two-sport athlete in a major Division I league if she chooses to go that route. Rautenberg earned all-class, all-state honors with numbers that jump off the stat sheet. She shot 63% from the field, while averaging 18.2 points, 14.5 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per contest for the Class C-1 state champions.
