Every standout at Nike Girls EYBL Session 1 in Phoenix did not come with offers, hype, or rankings, but it didn't stop them from producing. While the spotlights focused on the top names, there were a group of under-the-radar players who showed toughness, real skill, and a solid game. These are the unsung heroes who may not be talked about as of yet, but definitely showed they belong on the big stage.

Brynlee is a competitor. She showed grit and toughness, playing her first game of the day with maximum effort. Brynlee plays with consistent intensity and can set the tone on both ends of the floor. She has a strong awareness of spacing and is capable of creating her own shot. Brynlee is a playmaker. She made so many big plays in both of her games. Reliability and poise are what separate Brynlee from other players—a solid free-throw shooter who communicates very well and can elevate her teammates. Brynlee's impact on how she runs the point guard position is felt on every possession she plays. Brynlee has the skills to play at the next level.

Justice is the type of player who will do anything to help her team win. She plays with intensity and impacts the game with her effort. She can crash the boards, knock down shots, and set the tone for her team defensively. She is a very tough player. Justice is a communicator, and she does this at a high level. She communicates on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball, whether or not she has the ball. Offensively, every time she attacked the basket, it showed that she had a very quick first step. Justice is the type of player coaches love because she is a "glue" player with a competitor's mindset. What Justice brings to a team is not always on the stat sheet.

At 6'0, Sophia Bates has the mobility and size to make an impact at the next level. She runs the floor very well and consistently beats her matchup down the floor in transition. She has a steady motor and has the willingness to do the work that does not always show up in a box score. She plays very hard and contests shots, rebounds, and always seems to want to make the extra play. She is a player who understands her role and is very reliable on both sides of the ball. She has the mentality that helps a program win because she puts effort into every play she plays. Sophia is also a good defender, who plays defense with purpose.

Carli has good length for the small forward position. She uses her size well. Carli can disrupt passing lanes and guard multiple positions. What separates Carli is her ability to attack a defense. She has a nice perimeter shot and makes overall good decisions. Carli is a well-rounded player who makes a big impact on both sides of the ball.

Ashley is a fun, high-IQ point guard who is very creative and brings good energy to the court. She plays as if she sees the game a step ahead of what is happening, with excellent court vision and the ability to deliver accurate passes. She can control the game's tempo and understands the importance of getting her team organized. Ashley is a solid perimeter shooter who can make plays to stretch the floor. She moves well without the ball and stays active, which helps keep the offense flowing. She has a great understanding of ball movement, which keeps defenses on their heels.

Maci is a very confident player. She approaches the game with a high basketball IQ. She plays fast and has an explosive first step, allowing her to create separation and get into the paint. She can create her own shot, which makes it tough for defenders. The defender has to respect both her perimeter game and her ability to drive. She understands when to make the right play and when to score. Maci is a guard who makes her impact in multiple ways, keeping defenses constantly questioning her next move.

Sydney is a very skilled guard with a smooth, controlled pace and an advanced feel to her game. She has great ball-handling skills and is very confident in breaking down defenders and creating advantages in pick-and-roll situations and in isolation. She has excellent court vision and is a precise passer. Sydney is versatile and has a lot of confidence when she attacks the rim. She can stretch the floor and play with a strong competitive edge. Sydney is a natural leader on the basketball court. As she continues to grow, she is a dynamic guard who can lead an offense at the next level, control the tempo, and make plays.
