Davis, Doumbia Lead 17U Kansas Clash First Team Selections

At times she was just an absolute load as she combined her solid frame with some hops and ball speed in transition to create opportunities. She effectively used her legitimate size and length as well as solid transition speed to gain position. Her feel for identifying what shot she wanted to take translated and teammate communication with her hands was very good. She was also successful at clogging the lane, altering shot selection and clearing rebounds for ball handlers to get the transition game going. A solid combination of size and speed she also was arguably the best handling post player on the interior. The high motor forward competed at a high level on both ends, elevated well in the paint and was unafraid attacking the hoop against contact. At times it was a thing of beauty watching her and a teammate work the pick and roll game from the three point line area.
