Fox showed why she is a top 25 player in the upcoming senior class. Arguably the best player on the floor for either team on the floor she used athleticism and quick hands to great effect scoring and picking ball handlers. Slim, fast and rangy Fox consistently showed herself to be a scoring threat who looked for her teammates well passing as well as disruptive on defensive.

The slender, fast and quick Fox was a big factor against the tough Topeka back court. She showed speed to go with quickness and slipperiness in the half court to put up a dozen points on 5/7 shooting. And while she committed 4 turnovers she also gathered a steal, a blocked shot and 2 assists. Her length enabled her disrupt passing lanes and challenge shots.

Fox was arguably the most consistent problem for the Golden Eagles. Her length, quickness, athleticism and transition speed enabled her to match up well with the Bishop Carroll guards on both ends. Over the past year plus she has become a tighter on-ball defender, really catching up with her offensive chops. One play that stood out to me was a recovery from giving up a driving lane to get the shot block. Another, while working in the left corner, she made a really good ball fake to quickly drive right toward the middle of the lane to create a shot.

#3 5’9 Combo guard who is a really good slasher and cutter. She is solid on the boards and always finds her way to the basketball. Aysia understands her angles very well around the glass and prefers to take mostly high-percentage shots. As a result, her field goal percentage was high, and she didn’t take even 1 bad shot the entire game, which is highly impressive.

If I catch Derby in action, not only do they have an All-Star performer in the Class of 2026, but also in the Class of 2027. Fox is ranked No. 15 overall by Prep Girls Hoops Kansas. Like Askew, she is willing to do just about anything it takes to win a basketball game. She is a step or two quicker than Askew, but not quite as physical. She is a plus-ball handler and an athlete to keep tabs on moving forward.

is undeniably a one-on-one machine, consistently showcasing her elite scoring ability throughout the AAU season. Her offensive game is remarkably well-rounded, allowing her to score effectively at all three levels on the court – whether it’s from beyond the arc, with a polished mid-range game, or by aggressively attacking the rim. This comprehensive scoring arsenal makes her a constant threat whenever she touches the ball.
What truly sets Aysia apart is her one-on-one ability, which is exceptionally difficult to stop. Her combination of quickness, ball-handling, and diverse finishing moves enables her to consistently beat defenders in isolation situations. She’s a player who can single-handedly create offense and dictate the pace of the game through her individual brilliance.

Against Wichita East Fox could be found defending Blue Ace off guards, doing so with good quickness. She was a very effective off-ball threat interfering with and jumping passing lanes. She also handled with speed. In one instance she scored a nice transition layup against challengers. Her overall athleticism enabled her lock up a near double-double in points, swat 2 shots and generate a couple assists.

Aysia is on a team that is deep with talent. Aysia being one of those talented players that when I watched just does the little things. What I mean by that she is one of those players that get double digits and you like wow okay. She scores within the flow of the game. It is a putback rebound, backdoor cut or a front court steal for layup
Nice handles with control of offense with little to no turnover. Great decisions in transition always looking up the floor resulting in fast break points. Aysia was not one of the top scorers in their games I watched on Saturday but she was definitely a player i felt you needed to be successful
