Rebounding is all about heart and effort and here are just a few players that stood out during the Champions Challenge.

[player_tooltip player_id='1837669' first='Greta' last='Lofgren']-[program_tooltip program_id='713205' first='Wisconsin' last='Playmakers']-Voegli (Elk Mound)

Lofgren (5-11) from Elk Mound was one of the more impressive rebounders that I watched in her Sunday afternoon game. Not only good height but also solid positioning and a knack for the ball. She had eight rebounds (6 offensive) in about 3/4 of the game I watched and had three of those boards turn into layups for her.

[player_tooltip player_id='1248582' first='Campbell' last='Rempt']-[program_tooltip program_id='715806' first='United' last='Hoops'] (Sun Prairie West)

One of the more relentless rebounders that I saw over last weekend's Champions Challenge, the 5-8 Sun Prairie West product showed a good use of angles and strong body position to gather almost every ball in her area, on the defensive end. On the offensive glass, Rempt showed good strength in battling for boards and putbacks through contact.

[player_tooltip player_id='1778492' first='Madison' last='Milbeck']-[program_tooltip program_id='715518' first='24:UP' last=''] Krueger (Franklin)

I really liked what I saw from Milbeck (5-6) out of Franklin. Showing a good "nose for the ball" Milbeck always seemed to be around the action gathering rebounds, keeping possessions alive, and making good things happen for her team. These attributes will serve her well as she heads into her varsity career this fall!

[player_tooltip player_id='1810702' first='Jazmyne' last='McCray']-[program_tooltip program_id='1605164' first='4C' last='Sports Academy'] (The Prairie School)

Jazzy averaged 6.6 rebounds, per game, as a freshman with the Hawks and it is easy to see why. Nice combination of size, strength, body positioning, and hustle stood out as she had nine boards (6 offensive) in the Sunday afternoon game for [program_tooltip program_id='1605164' first='4C' last='Sports Academy'].

[player_tooltip player_id='1237561' first='Khloe' last='Hannula']-[program_tooltip program_id='713127' first='Wisconsin' last='Legends'] Black (West De Pere)

Hannula was one of the more athletic rebounders that I watched with a great ability to high-point rebounds. In the early game Sunday, she had at least seven rebounds, 4 offensive, and a couple of nice step-through up and under putbacks.
