Clark plays defense with a passion. Her relentless pressure, hustle and speed help notch her 4.0 steals per game and a season high 10 against Rincon. A guard who plays well through the physicality of the game scoring the ball well through contact. She rebounded the all very effectively averaging 4.3 per game and had a season high of 12 against Queen Creek. She earned 5A Sonoran Region Second Team honors. Clark is a great all around guard who is a skilled ball handler who can deal with pressure well. Makes great reads and has a high overall game IQ. Expect her numbers to rise next season for the Pueblo Warriors.

Whitaker has a great junior season where she ran the offense for the Caballeros. She was selected to the 5A Southern Region Second Team in what was a very talented region. A very confident shooter with a quick release who showed her ability to knock down the deep three ball. She hit a season high eight from beyond the arc against Cienega. Very quick and see the floor at a high level. Whitaker averaged 11.8 points, 2.6 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 3.0 steals. Plays the game with a fast past and great composure. Get to the paint effectively and makes strong passes through traffic.

Saucedo had transferred at the end of last year to Catalina Foothills. Once she was eligible due to transfer rules she came in and had an immediate impact for the Falcons. The Falcons would go on to win nine consecutive regular season games and 11 of their last 13 ultimately falling in the state semi-final game. Saucedo lead the Falcons in scoring with 11.3 points per game. She doubled that averaging 20 points per game throughout the 5A state Playoffs. She added 2.6 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game. Saucedo is a skilled guard who plays physical. She can get to the paint and make plays and has a solid three ball. Impact player coaches should take a look at.

Tiznado is a hustler who plays with an incredibly strong motor. She is one of the best players off the ball in Southern Arizona. Constantly on the go moving with purpose. Fierce on the defensive end forcing bad passes and turnovers with her physical pressure. Despite putting up 4.7 points, 1.9 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game this season Tiznado was selected to the 5A Southern Region First Team because of her ability to impact the game at a high level. Stats don't always tell a players ability to impact the game and Tiznado is a testament to that. A college level guard who will be vital for the Falcons to make a deep playoff run again next season.

Alfaro broke out this season for the Canyon Del Oro Dorados. The forward showed next level foot work and movement in the post. She was dominant on both ends averaging 8.5 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 3.2 blocks per game. Her blocks per game ranked her sixth in the state. One of her top games of the season was in a game I got to watch in person against Flowing Wells where she finished with 10 points, 13 rebounds and 8 blocks. Alfaro was selected to the 5A Sonoran First Team and will look to have an even more dominant season in her upcoming senior year. A player I encourage college coaches to take a look at.

A wing who is starting to quickly raise her stock. Elam has a ton of potential and who can see her growth with every showing. Elam averaged 5.5 points and 3.8 rebounds for the Mustangs this season while helping them advance to the state playoffs. She has a solid dribble and a high percentage mid range shot. She can space the floor well with her three ball which she shoots with confidence. A terrific paint defender and shot blocker with good size and a long wingspan. Elam is primed for a break out season this next year and is already off to a great club season which should see her attract interest from college coaches.

Elisea is a very quick guard who impacts the game at a high level especially on the defensive end. A full court defender who applies pressure forcing turnovers and getting 2.4 steals per game. Got it done on the offensive end as well scoring 10.1 points per game. Was terrific in transition on both sides. A skilled dribbler with a quick step who attacked the paint with confidence scoring the ball very well through contact. Elisea was selected to the 5A Southern Region First Team. With the departure of some key seniors expect a big upcoming season from Elisea.
