Coaches looking for a point guard that can handle the ball in high pressure situations and makes high level reads need to check out Jaidyn and the Catalina Foothills Falcons. A gifted passer who prior to transferring broke the school record for assists in a season with 100 at her former school. Sauced has elite vision. She is a scoring threat with a high percentage three ball and isn’t afraid to get physical in the paint and score off the glass. Saucedo had transferred at the end of last year to Catalina Foothills. Once she was eligible due to transfer rules she came in and had an immediate impact for the Falcons. The Falcons would go on to win nine consecutive regular season games and 11 of their last 13 ultimately falling in the state semi-final game. Saucedo lead the Falcons in scoring with 11.3 points per game. She doubled that averaging 20 points per game throughout the 5A state Playoffs. She added 2.6 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game. Saucedo is a skilled guard who plays physical. She can get to the paint and make plays and has a solid three ball. Impact player coaches should take a look at.

Saucedo who transferred into Catalina Foothills this past season was a great addition to and already talented Falcons roster. In her first season with the Flacons she averaged 11.3 points, 2.6 assists, 3 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game. Already in her career Saucedo has 858 points, 224 assists and 186 steals. She had a very strong showing in the 5A state playoffs where she averages 20 points, 3.3 assists and 2 rebounds per game. A tough physical guard who can make plays through pressure. Has a good long range shot that she can knock down. Very dangerous when the ball is in her hands.

Coming off a 20-point outing, Saucedo has to stay aggressive. She can score facing up or attacking the lane and has shown she’s comfortable carrying the offensive load. Catalina Foothills will lean on her shot-making in big possessions.

Jaidyn is a crafty guard that just has a knack for making plays. She gets to the lane consistently and knows what to do when she gets there. She can either hit the mid-range jump shot, or she can drop it off to an open teammate.

Jaidyn Saucedo Jaidyn Saucedo 5'3" | PG/SG Catalina Foothills | 2027 State AZ had a Breakout Freshman season last year winning the Region Offensive MVP. She is a tremendous ball handler especially in traffic. She is best when she is driving to the basket, however her game will have to open up offensively if Ironwood Ridge wants to fulfill their full potential. She can shoot the 3 pointer, she just needs to show teams she is willing to be unselfish and score at all levels.
