The Takeover: Under the Radar Players

I watched her make multiple three pointers off the catch and dribble. She also showed a nice touch from the midrange and was able to catch with her back to the basket, turn to square up and rise up into her shot. Playing at the level she did over the weekend is going to pay off during the evaluation period. She had a nice pump fake that suspended the defender taking it right into a pull-up jumper. She rebounder well using her length to get after loose balls. She uses her length well to attack and finish and she showed some handle taking the ball 3/4 court in transition for the finish while being chased down. As a matter of fact it seemed as if every shot she took was contested from her three pointers to her transition drives. She continued to score and the shot was pure and always in rhythm. She was harassing on the ball usually forcing the ball handler to pass or forcing a turnover. She had one play where she scored and was able to strip the offensive player getting a steal which she drove for a score to end the half.
