The Power Move program had a huge presence at the Monumental Madness and there were a lot of players that shined across the various age groups. She showed power inside using her strength and body to finish with contact. On the drive she used good body control to euro finesse her way by the defender for the score. She was able to weave full court in transition to get all the way to the basket. She played solidly all around in each game that I watched showing that she is amongst the elite in Baltimore.

Kamori feasted off of post players trying to guard her. Her handle and mobility gave her a clear advantage over interior players trying to defend her as she'd pull them out to the perimeter and drive by them. If they chose not to follow her she showed that she can knock down the jump shot out to the three point line. She had her way with smaller quicker players as she transitioned to take them inside and over power them. She had some type of mismatch for every defender that was sent out to cover her.

Eden opened the tournament attacking the basket with speed and finishing high off the glass. Then she started knocking down the three. She established herself from the start as a scorer with her teams first seven points and kept up the intensity throughout. She has a good combination of speed and athleticism that is hard to match up with and she has nice size at the guard position.

Tatiana knocked down a long two pointer that was only a few inches from being a three showing the range. She has a nice consistent form on her shot and seems taller than her listed 5'5" height. Case in point she was able to block a shot inside with both hands, secured the ball to start the offense for her team.

Kendall shot the three well in her game against Team Museum. She has a smooth fluid stroke with a nice rotation and a quick release. Every shot she takes looks like it's going in. She showed good ball handling skill and a nose for the basket as she weaved her way through the defense to get to the rim.

For a guard Somaya rebounds and finds ways to score inside. She has quick hands on defense and a good reaction time. She uses her body well to protect the ball which limits her turnovers. I didn't get to see her shooting range but her for dictates that she should be effective from beyond the arc giving her versatility at each perimeter position.

Peyton was very intense on defense and played it with passion. She locked in on her assigned player denying and pressuring the ball relentlessly. She covered a lot of ground on switches and was able to get her hands in for deflections or force the ball handler into mistakes. She seemed poised offensively to be effective at both guard positions and has speed to manage the game at an up-tempo pace.

Power Move's 15U team had a swarming defense that would be overwhelming to most teams and Kyndall was at the forefront. On the ball she was solid keeping her body in front of the ball handler while making them uncomfortable. She played the passing lanes well with good timing and anticipation for steal opportunities. She had a nice drive and finish to end the half to keep her team's momentum going in the game against Team Museum.

Jada had a nice touch from around 13' out. She runs the floor well and has good length. She was one of the younger players on the court but played with an lot of confidence. She showed good hands to catch and finish plays and played the lane well jumping the pass for a steal and transition finish.
