2027 Guards Shine at Davenport Elite Camp

The Davenport Elite Camp featured a talented group of 2027 guards who showcased their abilities throughout a full day of drills, skill development, one-on-one competition, and live 5v5 action. Olivia put together a strong showing at the Davenport Elite Camp and was particularly impressive during the 5-Star Shooting Drill led by Coach Sanders. The drill, which requires players to knock down 10 three-pointers, is one that Davenport players complete during the season, and Olivia nearly put on a perfect display by connecting on 9 of her 10 attempts. Her shooting touch carried over into the live 5v5 action, where she once again demonstrated her ability to consistently make shots from the perimeter. Beyond her shooting, Olivia showcased her ability to create space with the ball in her hands, using her shiftiness and strong handle to keep defenders off balance. Her combination of shot-making and guard skills allowed her to stand out throughout the day.     Sophie was one of the more intriguing two-way players at the Davenport Elite Camp and showed the type of game that could translate well to the college level. She consistently impacted play on both ends of the floor, combining athleticism, toughness, and effort throughout the day. During the 5v5 sessions, Sophie showcased her explosiveness by elevating above defenders for several impressive finishes in the lane. She also demonstrated her strength and body control, converting tough baskets through contact and earning an and-one opportunity. Beyond her scoring, Sophie was active on the glass and routinely came away with rebounds in traffic. Defensively, she competed with a high motor and physical approach, making things difficult for opponents.
