The Davenport Elite Camp featured a talented group of 2027 guards who showcased their abilities throughout a full day of drills, skill development, one-on-one competition, and live 5v5 action. With plenty of talent in attendance, these guards found ways to stand out through their playmaking, scoring, defensive effort, and overall feel for the game. Several prospects put together strong performances and demonstrated why they are names to keep an eye on moving forward. Here is a look at some of the 2027 guards who had productive days at the Davenport Elite Camp.

Olivia put together a strong showing at the Davenport Elite Camp and was particularly impressive during the 5-Star Shooting Drill led by Coach Sanders. The drill, which requires players to knock down 10 three-pointers, is one that Davenport players complete during the season, and Olivia nearly put on a perfect display by connecting on 9 of her 10 attempts. Her shooting touch carried over into the live 5v5 action, where she once again demonstrated her ability to consistently make shots from the perimeter. Beyond her shooting, Olivia showcased her ability to create space with the ball in her hands, using her shiftiness and strong handle to keep defenders off balance. Her combination of shot-making and guard skills allowed her to stand out throughout the day.

Sophie was one of the more intriguing two-way players at the Davenport Elite Camp and showed the type of game that could translate well to the college level. She consistently impacted play on both ends of the floor, combining athleticism, toughness, and effort throughout the day. During the 5v5 sessions, Sophie showcased her explosiveness by elevating above defenders for several impressive finishes in the lane. She also demonstrated her strength and body control, converting tough baskets through contact and earning an and-one opportunity. Beyond her scoring, Sophie was active on the glass and routinely came away with rebounds in traffic. Defensively, she competed with a high motor and physical approach, making things difficult for opponents. Her athleticism and bounce stood out throughout the camp, helping make her one of the more productive guards in attendance.

Makya had a productive day at the Davenport Elite Camp and consistently showcased her playmaking ability throughout the event. She stood out during the skill sessions with her ball-handling, displaying confidence and control with the ball in her hands. During the 5v5 games, Makya showed excellent vision, threading passes through tight windows and delivering several impressive assists in transition. She did a great job collapsing defenses by attacking the paint, drawing multiple defenders, and making the correct read to find open teammates. Makya also brought a physical edge to the floor, using her strength to battle inside and make plays in traffic. Her combination of toughness, court vision, and ability to create for others made her a valuable presence throughout the day.

Mackenna continued to show why her stock has been trending upward this spring with another strong performance at the Davenport Elite Camp. One thing that immediately stands out about her is the confidence she brings to the floor. She was often first in line during drills and attacked every opportunity with energy and purpose. Mackenna impressed during the skill work with her ball-handling ability and touch around the basket, consistently making plays while finishing through traffic. During the 5v5 sessions, she brought that same competitive mindset to the defensive end, applying relentless pressure and making opponents work for every possession. Her combination of confidence, skill, and intensity continues to help her stand out, and if her spring is any indication, she looks poised for an even bigger summer ahead.

Mady was one of the more versatile guards at the Davenport Elite Camp, showcasing a skill set that allows her to impact the game both on the perimeter and inside. The taller guard stood out during the skill sessions with her tight handle and ability to move comfortably with the ball despite her size. She also displayed a consistent shooting stroke during the shooting drills, knocking down shots from the perimeter with confidence. During the 5v5 games, Mady proved to be a player who contributes in a variety of ways. She attacked the basket effectively, connected on outside shots, and was active on the glass. Defensively, her size, mobility, and versatility allowed her to match up with multiple positions and make an impact across the floor. Her well-rounded game and ability to fill numerous roles made her a valuable presence throughout the camp.
