The current list consists of a Top 75, along with a watch list of 86 prospects. All in all, it expanded by 11 prospects overall, which we introduced in a couple of articles last Tuesday morning. At this point in time, we turn our attention to the shooting guards in the group, highlighted by 5 players near the bottom of this article who have really stepped up their games over the past 3 months.

.

I first saw Kei'Maija last Spring in a grassroots tournament, and she is even better this Spring. She is so long and wiry, fluidly athletic, with speed, quickness, and a lot of bounce. She is just a natural athlete on the court. What has impressed me most is her continuing development skillfully. She has shot it much more consistently this Spring, and she is getting rid of it quickly. She has always been a nice driver, and that's still there, but she'll need to tighten her handle a little more in traffic. She's an active rebounder, a versatile defender, and you don't ever have to worry about her playing hard.

Kennedy has really improved her all-around skillset and understanding of the game over the past 12 to 18 months. She has developed from more of a small forward to a true shooting guard, and she has had some really nice moments for her grassroots team this Spring. Even though she was limited to a minor role as a Sophomore, she could very well be in line for a lot bigger opportunity as a Junior, following some key 2026 graduations. Kennedy is a well-balanced athlete, she has some strength to her, and she plays with a nice motor. Also, she can defend multiple positions equally well.

Kokomo has several really nice returnees spread throughout all graduating classes right now, but Jhordyn is somewhat unique. She is extremely long, possibly still growing, and she's a fluid, smooth athlete who can fill it up from the perimeter. She has nice touch, a little range, but she can also put it on the floor and seemingly glide to the basket. She has gotten a little stronger each year, and as that continues, I expect her shooting percentages to become more consistent and her ability to draw fouls to increase as well. She already has some nice tools, but she still has a lot of potential as well.

While Hamilton Southeastern has graduated a lot of talent, and they have a lot more in their feeder system, this 2028 class has always been described as just "solid"...as if that isn't enough. Well, now it's their turn to step into critical roles these next two years, and Haylee has really stepped up this Spring for an elite travel team. She is long, fluidly athletic, and hard-working. She plays with a good basketball IQ, and she has proven to be a problem as a perimeter shooter you must find in transition. I think she could be one of the bigger surprises during the 2026-2027 high school season as a breakout player.

I had seen Dallas a couple of different times this Spring, but I felt like her play this past weekend with her school team was even better. She looked much more comfortable in the Blackhawks' system, and she played much more confident. She is a solid all-around athlete with nice length, she continues to get a little stronger, but she is best known for her ability to make open shots from the perimeter. She was really good last Friday at finding open space, getting her feet set on the catch, and hitting the bottom of the net. She definitely has nice potential moving forward.
