I’ve been a fan of Kei’Maija’s since I first saw her in April of 2025. She is a long, athletic, confident ballplayer who just goes out and plays on instinct. She has a natural, almost playground feel for the game, something missing in a lot of female hoopers today. She has always been athletic off the bounce, but this year she is shooting it much better, and she has turned herself into a multilevel scoring threat. She is every bit of 5-9 now, pushing 5-10, and she will switch to a shooting guard once we update rankings again in June. I’d be a little surprised if shoe company clubs didn’t start calling soon.

Kei’Maija is someone it’s difficult for me to get out and see in the Winter, so it was definitely good to see her in this environment. Just like when I saw her in the Spring last year, she was really good. She is extremely long, fast, and bouncy. She also plays with a nice motor and effects the game at both ends of the floor. She can get it and go in transition or fill the outside lane. She is an athletic slasher who can get to the basket, but she also has nice touch from the perimeter and showcased that Yesterday. I also think she has the athletic potential to be an outstanding defender.

I got my first look at Kei’Maija in a PGH Indiana event in late May. She is a long, wiry, fluid, and smooth athlete. Additionally, she possesses speed, quickness, and a little bounce as well. She has some touch from the perimeter, she is an effective driver, and she can change directions quickly, with or without the ball. I think she has a lot of upside for the next level, as long as she continues to develop her perimeter skillset and situational awareness.

I love her energy, active on and off the ball. Also can knock down the three off the pass. Good leader playing the point, sharp passes and she has good court vision. Excellent up top with deflections on defense, creates turnovers and transition scoring chances.
