As I mentioned before, the area is on an upward trend with people moving in and the quality of basketball on the upswing. More and more kids are hooping beyond just the high school season. In return, the quality of school ball is fierce, and you are starting to see rivalries renewed and more girls getting recognized for their efforts.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In the previous article, you saw some high-level talent listed. Now, we are going to add to that list as we talk about some more kids in the area. The kids listed aren't just your average Joe's. No. No. These kids bring multiple skill sets to the party, enabling them to contribute to their team's success. This is part of the Jackson coverage. Keep tabs on these girls as well, as they will be integral pieces to their club's success this upcoming season. This kid plays with a motor, and it is always showcased when the light comes on. She's a lockdown defender who gets steals, blocks shots, and contributes on the boards. Offensively, she will be aggressive and attack the rim. Don't give her any space on the perimeter; she won't hesitate to knock down the 3-ball either. Her game continues to grow, and she is becoming more and more comfortable on the floor with each outing. She plays the game with an edge and isn't afraid to mix it up every once in a while. She is a solid defender, one who will do whatever it takes to come up with the ball. A selfless leader who is willing to help her club win no matter what. From scoring to defense, she is going to go 110% the entire can. She can score from multiple spots on the floor. Be a solid contributor in other phases of the game, like making timely assists, getting steals, and keeping her opponent in front on D. She's a kid who is a workhorse, and her team feeds off her energy. She has a nice change-of-pace game, communicates effectively with her teammates, and is becoming a solid leader on the floor. Contributes on the defensive end, no matter what is at stake, she is going to give you everything she has. The team has been on a magical run lately, and her contributions haven't gone unnoticed. Strong. This multi-sport athlete just gets the job done. Whatever her team needs, she gets right after it. Offensively, she's a bucket, exploiting the painted area, finishing at the rim. She can stretch the floor and knock down shots from multiple spots, but her aggressiveness gets her plenty of opportunities from the free throw line, where she shoots a high % from there. On the defensive end, she will defend, contribute on the boards, and block shots. This girl has tremendous upside, and collegiate coaches like her. This kid is on a mission, and she's putting together solid numbers to go with her body of work. An unselfish ballplayer, she will make the right reads and move based on what the defense gives her. She puts up numbers across the board and gives her team an edge when she is on the floor. A go-getter who is going to show up on both sides of the ball. She has great size and length that cause problems on the defensive side of the ball. Steals, rebounds, blocks, she's going to notches tallies in these columns as well. She is a talented kid who brings athleticism into the mix. A kid who can do it both inside and out. She gets tons of deflections and streaks, truly creates chaos as her club gets easy transition buckets going the other way. She's a tough competitor. One who will lead by example and do whatever it takes to win. Her game is ascending, and more people are starting to take notice.
