There is talent all throughout the class of 2028, and that does not stop past the top 100-ranked players in the Prep Girl Hoops rankings. Here are five PGs in the class of 2028 that could eventually find their way into the top 100 and are players to take note of ahead of their junior seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='1357189' first='Kiera' last='Cooper'], this past school season for Concord Christian, displayed high-level perimeter defending skills.

Cooper almost every game found a way to generate a steal, a lot of times she generated multiple. In a game against Madison High School, she had six. A lot of the steals she gets are from her ability to read passing lanes.

On offense, Cooper is a good scorer in transition and is able to score effectively on both sides of the bucket.

[player_tooltip player_id='1155080' first='Maren' last='Brasel'], in her sophomore season, showcased a lethal 3-point jumper on occasion.

Brasel, if given the space, has repeatable shooting mechanics with her perimeter jumper. With this weapon in her offensive arsenal, she can go to it even well behind the arc. In a game against Centennial High School this past season, Brasel was left open at the top of the key at least five feet off the arc. She set her feet, let a long shot fly, and made the opposing Cougars pay for leaving her open. Brasel, with her 3-point shot alone, could be a more than meaningful contributor for the Lady Bruins in her junior season.

Brasel on offense also sees the floor well. She is unselfish and is good at making passes that advance her team's possessions into scoring threats.

[player_tooltip player_id='1240257' first='Mikah' last='Mulligan'], when she steps on the floor, often impacts games in a multitude of ways.

One of the great parts of Mulligan's game is that she helps set a tone on the defensive side of the ball. She is active in keeping up with her assignment on defense and often finds a way to secure a steal. Mulligan's ability to lock in on that side of the ball especially allows her to be a blocking threat even at 5'5" and the PG position.

Mulligan can stretch the floor offensively with a capable 3-point jumper. Her mechanics on her shot are good. Going into her junior season, her perimeter shooting could have a bigger impact in games. Mulligan is also not afraid to stick around and fight for rebounnds and is good at finding her teammates when they are open.

[player_tooltip player_id='1155233' first='Seleen' last='Barrett'] has a great defensive game supported by a more than effective offensive game.

Barrett is a scrappy defender who is not afraid to play fairly close to her assignment. This causes opponents to make errors when playing against her. Barrett is also a great help defender. She has great situational awareness and knows when to move over to initiate and try to get a steal or to just initiate a double team. She did this especially well in a contest against Stewarts Creek High School last season, where she had four steals in the contest.

Barrett on offense is a good attacker of the basket. She is able to make contested shots at unideal angles. She also has a euro step she can go to create space in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='875022' first='Alaya' last='Harris'] is a speedy guard with good scoring ability on the drive.

Harris, at 5'2", is super quick. She combines the following trait of hers with under control dribbling skills. The combination of the two things makes her a great scorer when driving downhill. In fastbreak scenarios, when she has the ball, the vast majority of players can not catch up to her. Harris can also score well on both sides of the basket, with her dominant and non-dominant hand.

Harris is also a high-level steal threat, like many of the players listed above her. In a game against Kirkwood High School this past season, she had five steals.

There is talent all throughout the class of 2028, and that does not stop past the top 100-ranked players in the Prep Girl Hoops rankings. Here are five PGs in the class of 2028 that could eventually find their way into the top 100 and are players to take note of ahead of their junior seasons.
