Buttchen, an incoming senior, for Milton, is having a great offseason and further solidifying her reputation as one of the better finishers in the state. Showing true "three-level" scoring ability, Buttchen has continued to impress with her ability to get to her spots, whenever she wants, and finish seemingly everything mid-range and in including a nice bag of floaters, stop-and-pop jumpers, and crafty finishes while absorbing contact. Coming off of a terrific junior campaign, where she averaged 14.9 ppg and was 1st Team All-Conference in the Badger Large, Buttchen looks like she has found another gear.

Appleton East's incoming senior is having a great summer and turning heads not only with her lights out shooting, which she is known for, but also with her all-around game. Always in command of the floor, Sweeney has shown a great feel for, not only finding open teammates, but also when to call her own number where she is a 40% career shooter, from distance, starting her senior season with 1,131 career points. Underrated defensively, Sweeney moves her feet well and uses great anticipation to generate turnovers leading to easy buckets.

Kuepper, coming off of a breakout 2025-26 campaign, where she averaged 20.9 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 2.9 apg, and 2.5 spg, is looking like she has taken another step forward this summer. This past weekend, at the WIAA/WBCA Summer Slam event, the future UWM Panther put up 32 ppg, over the three games, including a 40 piece knocking down not only volleyball line 3's but also finishing virtually everything she threw up around the hoop as she had the defense on their heels all game.

I first had the opportunity to watch the 5-10 Guy, at last fall's Expo, and it looks like she has gotten even better from her junior season, where she averaged 18.1 ppg, 5.4 rpg, and 2.6 apg, to this summer. What initially caught my eye, last fall, was her overall feel for the game where she displayed great handles and the ability to utilize her speed, body control, and athleticism to get to the basket, at will, and that looks even more pronounced this summer. Currently ranked as the #15 in the class of 2027, I expect that her stock will continue to rise as she continues to show true three-level scoring ability.
