Last week, before the scholastic live period, I attended a three-day camp, put on by Travis Diener, that included around 70 talented incoming freshmen from Wisconsin. I spent most of the three days learning about some of the 2030s before they get to high school in the fall, and taking notes on most of the players there. I didn't end up getting notes on every player, but we will look at some of the players who stood out from the three-day event in Mequon and what they bring to the floor.

I was impressed by how Wallace grew into her game. In the three days of camp, the version of herself on day one was significantly different than day three. Wallace played slightly passive on day one and became incredibly confident by day three, and she was impressive. She played off two feet, has a strong frame, has the burst to attack off the dribble, and has room to develop her skill set.

The Grafton native is an excellent perimeter shooter who will space the floor anywhere she plays in her future. She has solid footwork and can get her shot off quickly, which will help her excel as an off-ball player at the high school level. She also doesn't get forced into uncomfortable situations with the ball and can make quick reads off the catch.

The Muskego native was among the more impressive players in Mequon over the three days. She has a strong frame and plays physically around the basket, and I think her physical tools will play at the high school level, and I don't see that often with incoming freshmen. She is also an athletic kid who competes on both ends of the floor. She has the talent to be one of the more productive players in her class over the next four years, if she continues to work on her game. However, she was one of the players who impressed me the most.

If you know the Romero name, most of what I'm about to say probably won't surprise you. [player_tooltip player_id='875049' first='Raina' last='Romero'] is an undersized guard with an excellent motor. She flew around the floor and made extra-effort plays in an environment where it didn't matter as much as it would in a high school game, but she did it all the time. She is an impressive athlete who can use her speed on both ends of the floor, and she competed well whenever I watched her play.
