JSE Showcase: Frontcourt Prospects Who Raised Their Stock

The guards may have brought the flash, but the frontcourt prospects brought the force at the JSE Showcase. From dominating the glass and protecting the rim to finishing through contact and running the floor, several post players made their presence impossible to ignore.   These prospects did not just take up space in the paint—they controlled it.   Throughout the event, the most impressive frontcourt performers played with toughness, physicality and nonstop energy. They battled for every rebound, challenged shots around the basket and created second-chance opportunities with relentless work on the offensive glass. Whether it was scoring with their back to the basket, finishing off dump-down passes or beating defenders down the floor in transition, the bigs showed they could impact the game in multiple ways. The Barbe standout was an absolute force in the paint, playing with nonstop aggression, toughness, and a motor that never slowed down.   Brooks attacked the glass like every rebound belonged to her. She used her strength, positioning, and physical style of play to rip down boards, create second-chance opportunities, and control the interior. On defense, she brought serious versatility, showing the ability to guard multiple positions, battle inside, and make life difficult for anyone trying to score around her.   When the game tightened up, Brooks stepped up even bigger. She came through with clutch buckets in the fourth quarter and finished with a team-high 17 points, helping lead Barbe to the win. Her confidence, physicality, and ability to produce in pressure moments separated her from the competition.   Brooks did not just fill the stat sheet—she changed the energy of the game. Raykelle Davis stepped onto the floor at the JSE Team Camp with absolutely no fear! The Tioga standout brought strength, toughness, and a physical inside presence that immediately caught attention. Davis loves playing through contact, and she made it clear that she was not backing down from anyone in the paint.   Her footwork was one of the biggest highlights of her performance. Davis showed the ability to establish strong position, use controlled moves around the basket and finish against physical defense. Once she got the ball inside, she attacked with confidence and forced defenders to match her strength.   Davis also brought serious energy on the glass. She battled for rebounds, pursued loose balls and gave her team extra opportunities with her effort around the basket. Her physicality allows her to play bigger than her size, while her aggressive mentality makes her difficult to keep away from the rim.   The young Tioga prospect has already shown that she can produce offensively, including a reported 24-point performance during the high-school season. She has also earned recognition among Tioga's “Best of the Rest” honorees, adding even more momentum to her growing résumé. She is only a 2029 prospect, but she already plays with the toughness and confidence of an experienced varsity performer. Bell attacked the glass with purpose, rose over defenders for rebounds and consistently turned missed shots into scoring opportunities.   Offensively, Bell showed why she is such a dangerous frontcourt prospect. She finished strong around the basket, created difficult scoring angles with her length and displayed impressive touch near the rim. Her ability to catch, gather and score through traffic made her a constant problem for opposing defenses. Bell also flashed creativity when the ball came off the rim, quickly finding ways to convert tough opportunities into points.   Defensively, she was a game-changing presence. Bell protected the rim, altered shots and forced opponents to think twice before attacking the paint. Her mobility and athleticism allow her to defend inside while also giving her the versatility to step away from the basket and guard multiple positions.   Bell is listed as a 6-foot-2 small forward/power forward in the 2028 class and competes for Zachary and Mississippi All In. She is already recognized as one of Louisiana's top young prospects and recently added a Mississippi State offer to her growing recruitment.   She also brings championship experience as a two-time state champion with Zachary, adding a proven winning background to an already impressive résumé.
