Before Tocoi Creek even stepped on the floor, [player_tooltip player_id='912252' first='Naomi' last='Gill'] had already enjoyed a winning moment—earning an offer from UNF. Once the action started, Gill showed why. As the Sharks prepare for the post-Audrey Beyer era, Gill and company once again looked like a team that could be a force by the end of next season. Gill has the athleticism and versatility to impact the game in a variety of ways. She can get to the rim, score from the perimeter, and create for teammates when needed. Her skill set allows her to play the point, shooting guard, and even spend time on the wing. Defensively, Gill is equally impressive, creating havoc on the ball while using her speed, anticipation, and length to disrupt passing lanes, generate deflections, and turn defense into offense. Gill is one of the hottest young recruits in the state, and the UNF offer was the third one in the last few weeks.

It was a very good weekend for Makayla DesJarlais, both on and off the court. The 2027 forward committed to the University of Tampa, and on Day one of the UNF camp, she showed many of the qualities that make her such an intriguing prospect. DesJarlais brings intensity, toughness, and a strong competitive edge every time she steps on the floor. At the UNF camp, she flashed her versatility and tenacity, diving on the floor for loose balls, making hustle plays, and hitting the glass on both ends of the court. With her college decision behind her, DesJarlais can now focus on helping Bishop Kenny chase another championship.

[player_tooltip player_id='1044102' first='Rilee' last='Kargbo'] made some nice plays at the four position and continues to show why she can be an important piece for her team next season. She does a good job around the basket, scoring efficiently and finishing in the paint. Kargbo rebounds well, has good size, and plays with a strong motor on both ends of the floor. Her versatility allows her to play both the four and five positions, giving her team flexibility in the frontcourt. She also made several nice plays during the state championship run, showing she can contribute in big moments. One of Kargbo's strengths is that she stays within her game and is a reliable presence on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1232625' first='Kaitlyn' last='McBride'] had a nice outing at UNF's team camp. The shooting guard played well in sync with her teammates, ran the floor well, and was a playmaker throughout the day. She was effective in transition, showed the ability to pass the ball, score in the midrange, and knock down shots from behind the perimeter. McBride came in as an under-the-radar player, but she did a good job of introducing herself to everyone at the camp with her steady play and versatility on the offensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='1090912' first='Mamie' last='Burkett'] brought intensity and toughness to her team, and that carried over until the last buzzer. While her teammates were shooting the lights out from the perimeter, Burkett was holding things down in the middle. She made plays as a passer, scored efficiently on the inside, and rebounded well on both ends of the floor. Burkett's presence was felt in multiple areas of the game, and she made it clear that she will be a contributor who leads with both her play and her voice. Her energy, physicality, and willingness to do the little things set the tone for her team throughout the day.
